Question: How high did you tier?

Following on from an off-topic discussion in another thread, I'd like to ask the community how high you have managed to tier up and weapon, L or not.


I managed to get a BL1450 to tier 4 before it broke.

10 slots on a fully tiered item

8.4 is as high as I've gotten so far with an H400.

2.4 tier so far on LR65 , still around 150 ped tt left and good tier rates so i hope ill be at tier 5.0 when there is around 80 ped tt left.

would make a nice pk gun then

Did you work anything out between the tier up numbers and the decay between tiers?

no, sorry, i'm not a number cruncher. (rather, i dont want to be)
for more precision, i did a 600 ped hunt, at first, brought me to 8.2 (decay of 0.2987) , then i used the enhancer ...(wich decreased my consummed ammo by 3 ( 1597 ammo used) and brought the decay to 3.08 pec



thats 80 shoot for T1
79 shoot between T1 and T2
1073 between T2 and T3
1201

464
377
1506 shoot ( considering that the Tier progression is linear within the level, that make an average decay of 3.0614 pec)
and finally 706 shoot to reach T 10

thats a total of 6078 shoot to get to T10

I also didn't get all the tier at the exact shoot. meaning that there is a margin of eror of around 20 shoot (in all) for the decay (like for T3, i have screened it 3 shoot too late ie). but I suppose it will be enough to get an idea of how Tier increase rate work.


sooooo... (specious theory below)
looking at tiers numbers.. if you take T2 and T 10...
79 shoot for T2, 709 for T10... thats roughly 9 times it.

between T3 and T9... 1073 and 1506...for a TiR of 540 and 1679 hmm 1.5 time more shoot for 3 times the TiR rate?


I can't make them fit together.

Naah.

It was when tiers where just implemented and noone could understand a thing about those
