After many years in this game it's easy to develop insane habits, like sweating for a couple of years.

My latest insane venture is to pace up and down Ithaca for 'months' training my pets, almost 3 months I've been in town now. I like it, I can walk away grab a cup of tea come back, and my pets gain xp.

Anyway when at my keyboard I like to walk, up and down the hill for hours on end....for weeks and weeks.

Every now and then some do-gooder (school prefect), type person, feels this over powering need to stop me walking...running in front of me, obviously checking my online status. Usually I just stop walking and the person then satisfied all is ok, runs off and leaves me alone. It's so obvious a botting check.

I even had an MA person (adviser) check up on me, speaking to me in open chat (I'd love to know how many botting reports I get.....lol).

Anyway for laugh I might pretend I'm not online next time this happens. The men in white coats haven't collected me yet, so it might just entertain my evening. I might even get another special visit from an MA employee...yippie.

I wouldn't even know how to make a bot, and assuming I did, I then wouldn't have a clue how to make it interact with the game. I'm an old git now, I want a DVD player where I press on and off...no special buttons. I like phones that make calls and texts, I don't even know how to activate a mobile "app".

Plus my Nokia phone, is almost ten years old in October and still going strong.

So there you have it, crazy Rick...is totally insane. I walk for months in town, and to me that's normal.

Maybe hunting mobs for ten years is normal too...hee,hee.

When pets have more to do, I'll cut back on the walking.

What is sqrt (square root) of 2 + sqrt 3 = Then square that answer (i.e. ^2), Then minus 1, then divided by sqrt 2, then divide it by the sqrt of 2 again = ?

First person with the right answer is the winner.

Quick mental math gives me :
2 + 2*sqrt(3)/sqrt(2)
 
Sweating for years and walking for months, you've really figured this game out, Rick :laugh:

((sqrt(2+sqrt(3))^2-1)/sqrt(2))/sqrt(2) = (2+sqrt(3)-1)/sqrt(2) * 1/sqrt(2) = 1+sqrt(3), which is aprox 2.732

Or did you mean (((sqrt(2)+sqrt(3))^2 - 1)/sqrt(2))/sqrt(2)?

I was called a bot the other day whilst hunting feffox....that doesn't upset me. The part that upset me was he called me a dude, clearly that person is insane :girl:

Yes I was bored and in the midst of vacuuming the house....

(On hindsight, it could be further simplified to just (2 + square root of 6) and its probably some grade maths simplify question without the use of a calculator)

Correct, expand and simplify at step 4 instead of pulling out the 1/2.
 
But ... my unswer was more clear .... 2+sqrt(6) = 4.4494897 ....

But in short, im against bot users, and people joking about it and saying is fine are idiots

Go some years back, some people lost ALL Their assets worth several thousands because they were proven to be using 3rd party software for advatange (bots) to hunt for them while they work or whatever.

Why were people in the past punished and got all their account liquidated. and today _ EVEN THO IT SHOWS CLEARLY ON TOS IT IS AGAINST THE RULES TO USE IT _ why arent some people more severelly punished?

As for myself, i never used anything of the sort, because it is against the rules,
I reported multiple times and some did admit to me they did use it cos MA doesn't give a fuck so they got locked temporarly for few days only and MA asked not to do that again, and yet they do it .

Sadly the rules arent the same for all

It only requires writing a script as it has been done in games before and as this one as well. Sad to say.

More correlates with sweating or fruit hunting. There's been a problem with bot sweaters for a while now but who cares. They're paying more in electricity than they are actually making in game.

Kinda like bit-coin mining.
