I suggest to change the logoff time if you are into a vehicle and it have been destroied before you logged off. Like 20 seconds to logoff as usual when you are inside a vehicle, while increase to 1 minute the logoff time when your vehicle explodes before the 20 seconds.

This should allow the pirate to claim their kills in time, of course only if they are enough fast to destroy the vehicle in 20 seconds.

I am thinking expecially to upgraded Privateers and Motherships, that have to hold a certain security since if space have to be still risky, the expansive upgraded Vassels should still hold worth adding the security a Quad or a VTOL shouldn't have.

Hopefully Mindark will listen and fix this little problem by re-adding the transport fees (a portion of which will go to the hanger owners again) and ability to buy items from other worlds directly from the auction without having to go to the other planet to pick the items up... and re-add the teleport to other planet directly, bypassing space option that used to exist... It's silly that a technology that we used to have such as that no longer exists since the point of this game is to increase colonist's use of technology using what we learn from aliens, etc., not downgrade the technology making what used to work no longer work....

That way all these participants in space that are making you a sad pirate will no longer have to go to space at all, freeing the area up for you to wreck havock on those that choose to be there, and probably have the firepower to actually give you a bit of a challenge that you seem to be seeking.

Quad are faster than MS, MS are almost undestroyable plus they can TP, but they lack speed,
Unl Quads have very small advantage over regular equipment,
With time the changed im seeign on space is bigger space craft on the quad category, High cost/shot to be able to take down MS.

If MS dont have this possibility to log off inside it, they wont be a deed anymore, they'd be just a regular vehicle.

The only thing space needs is balancing,
No lootable pvp areas to hunt, and lootable areas for the mobs that loot the rarest materials or most necessary ones.

In space people should have the choice, like planet wise, to either hunt, mine or PK.
I know some ppl that stay away from space because they dont like the PK factor, even if they dont carry any loot, and no player should be blocked by something he dislike, this'll make other planets loose some potencial costumers and the economy to develop.

Like I said on my previous post, If a area such as pvp4/3 was introduced in space with exclusive looting from there. That would make PK more interesting in space for PKrs.
If they did more hunting areas without the pvp risk, that would generate more income since more ppl would hunt there overkilling with MS Or just wasting quads while hunting.

I would like to make you aware of the fact that people can log out in space to prevent being killed and looted.
This topic will serve as a discussion not for people to talk about their troubles with pirates because their brain is too small in capacity, but for Pirates who are sick'n'tired of being legally cheated on.

You are right that it is a way of cheating pirates out of ped. I am also very glad it exists and it is legally permitted. Mindark forced total pvp in space on all participants. There are people for and against, and this is a nice way to keep both sides happy.

When a pirate attacks a player, 4 out of 5 times the player presses ALT+F4 and leaves us pirates in the dark.
Ofcourse this is perfect harassement to piracy, i'm sure you can imagine all those non-pirates laughing out loud knowing a pirate will wait hours for him to log back in to kill his floating body.
you must also realise that it ís nearly impossible to know when someone will log back in.

The time for a player to log off is practically 10seconds, therefore it's impossible for us pirates to Ever attack any Quadwing, Privateer or Mothership.
We have tried what we can, but there is no way we can kill a ship within 10 seconds of the logoff timer.

Still there are lots of players who are/were unaware of this. Thank you for telling me this!

Why is this such a problem for the economy you ask me?
well.. simple..
- Pirates have no income, therefore we will run dry on peds just for playing the game.
.. paying a 100% payment with 0% return, where hunting/mining/crafting is 100%input 90%output.
Yes, basically you don't contribute to the economy either. You are basically a thief.(made possible by Mindark) It's a bit strange that thieves should complain tbh, when they do nothing to contribute to the economy, You steal from it and don't even decay (Only decay others)
- Bigger ships will never have use on crew, because pirates will never attack the ships.
if they do.. people will just log off, the ship will let itself be killed.
This is a weird assumption with new mobs just being reintroduced. I think there will be room for a lot more crew, working together to defeat space boss mobs , healing the spacecrafts. True pirates will simply move on to bigger ships as well, as will hunters of these new mobs. Daisycoldfinger already stressed the need for ships to be able to heal itself.

Yes this is very true. I wouldn't want to go hunting, get a hof message and then 20 pirates all over me. The pvp-factor is stabbing Mindark in the back here, they would get a lot more ped if hunting areas where non-pvp and certain areas where pvp for the lovers of pvp
