Mermoth Mission help!

OK so I go to see Vayne Ashe @ 533 622 and she says my friend to the south needs help more than me... But I can't find the friend to the south... only the poacher camp where I keep getting shot.

So how do I get the Mermoth mission started?

If I remember right the person that says that is at the end of the dock and the person to the south they are talking about is the one that is just a few feet away from them. You have to do their mission first and then you can talk to the other NPC to get the mission.

Once you have completed all the missions at Odysseus, Research Camp, and Camouflaged Camp, you get the final mission from Seargeant Christmas to go to the Exploration Camp.

This opens up both NPC there, and you get the Mermoth mission.

Just had the same problem myself, there were a few missions I hadn't completed, and I decided to go back and finish the rest. It worked (and I killed the Allophyll back at Limnadian). Damn Gokibusabi!
