Hi 711,

Could you create wishlist and bug report subforums for most of the existing forums (Space, Crafting, Hunting, etc) so that it is much easier to find specific wishlist ideas/bug reports instead of having to manually search/scroll through the wishlist/bug report forum in its entirety?

This would help eliminate duplicate ideas, and provide optimal organization of thoughts. I also suspect it would help MindArk and PCF Officials in finding/noticing these threads.

This could be applied to your other hosted forums as well?

What would be more helpful would be if members looked for similar threads before creating new ones on the same topic. The Google Custom Search is a very useful tool for that.

Also taking note of the forum descriptions - and any specific guidelines which can be found in a stickied post in the top of the section - before posting, so that a new thread is in its proper section, saves mods having to come along and move them to where they should go.
(That's a forum rule btw:
3.3 - Thread Location
Please make an effort to post new threads in the appropriate forum or subforum. Posting threads in the proper section makes the forum easier to browse for all members and visitors, and reduces the workload for our volunteer community staff. If you are unsure where to post a new thread, please take the time to read the forum descriptions in order to familiarize yourself with the focus of the various available forums and subforums. Threads posted in an inappropriate forum may be moved or deleted without notice.
)

Just doing that would save discussions on more or less the same topic being fragmented over several threads and different sub-forums.

The other thing, is using thread titles that make clear the topic of the thread.

I understand what you're saying, Serica. However, further subforums would only benefit organization, the need to move topics would be reduced, and in turn make the search less needed as you could sticky a "Top 10 Most Recent and Talked About Wishlist Items".

The Google search is great and would be nice if it was the default search located up there to the right. :)
