I have 5 lights in there and its dull as hell.

I think if you go to options, and change quality of render down, the light amount increases... so Game designers might be using low poly versions when tweaking the system. Hopefully their supervisor buys a new, more powerful computer soon that is able to play the game with all quality turned way up and adjust as needed.

I turn off shadows to increase my fps, it illuminates places better however its still dull in my apartment.

Mindark must fix internal lights of apartments !!! URGENT

On min GFX settings it seemed lighter for me in apartments.

How useless . To see things well with the new graphics, we effectively have to turn them off

I tried to video my house but unfortunately have a problem with my graphics card overheating a bit this evening.

If you have time please visit it at 79000/87500 one lesser tp hop south-west of Camp Echidna (look for the orange dot/shopkeeper telepad outside and the blue personal storage terminals).

Best viewed at night-time as I've deliberately tried to make the atmosphere dark and slightly scary by blocking out the light from the windows.

And if you're feeling really brave go upstairs.

I have the same issue.

I have the same number of lamps now that I did before, and my apart now is very dark.

I think the local power company has switched to 110V, but for got to say, so I am still using 240V bulbs.

I think A support case is called for, no?

It will be necessary to wait until this is fixed.
Clearly its a bug but probably not an urgent one.

I think this is one which works both ways. It would be nice to retain the possibility of having a dark apartment, so I hope that MA don't just turn up the general light level. I am hoping that they will increase the brightness of the lamps - perhaps make the Nallo ceiling lamp give a "general" light over the whole apartment. It would be nice to differentiate the light which comes from different lamps. A dimmable Nallo would also be a nice touch. give us more control over the lighting!!!

It's dark in my pad also. I like how in the Entropia promotional video it shows how we are supposed to be able to modify the interior of our appartments at will. Maybe if MA can developpe that it could mean extra revenue for them. They could also create the Interior Decorator profession.

I now need to work on getting furnature in there. but i have one lamp so far, and my Crafting books on the floor. hehe

Any furnature donations will be greatly apreciated. If there are no donations, I will have to work slowly to buy my own stuff to fill it up haha.

The more I play with my estates, the more I do feel like an interior decorator. Come on by Omegaton West Habitat and check it out some time. I'll try to swing by your places as well before long.

I just spent a bunch of peds on some statues. Pretty nifty little pieces of furniture. I got them because it fits in line with the theme I'm aiming for... The Lost Library is a place for learning new stuff in a bit of a sophisticated way like you do at libraries irl... The statues have names of the mobs on the pedastals.

My advice to you n00b interior decorators - use buyout in auction because the really nice furniture will disappear under your nose if you don't. Stuff like Tron Towers, L-Quent Sideboard, etc. go fast.

Also.. if you have any freebie gifts from MA that have lights in them, use em. I love the jack o lantern light. Puts out a nice ambient orange color. I also like the reindeer - nice for highlighting certain areas of the wall on a shelf, etc.

Not sure if I'll keep the apartments open... really depends on how much business they get and if I can get shopkeepers again in the future.
