I could only find one thread actively discussing paint weight https://www.planetcalypsoforum.com/forums/resources/84852-paint-heavy.html and even then it diverged off topic in a matter of chinese whispers.
After hunting formidon a fair bit recently, and looting huge amounts to be restricted to walking most of the time(especially prevalent in big-formi LA), it got me wondering as to what possible reason would differing weight of paints mean? Similarly, if there is a correlation between paint-weight and some other factor, does this have any correlation to textures (I am still trying to work out how I can take 1 wool+1 extracotr and make something HEAVIER than their combined weight. I will add in textures later, if it warrants a similar analysis.
NB: most weights taken from entropedia. I havea feeling some are wrong (i know brown paint wight is 0.1, but is listed as 0.2 in entropedia. for example. I think light green, turquoise, pink is wrong (need confirmation
So the questions atm I ask:
What possible reason is there for a difference in paint wegiht?
Does this have any implication into how we play the game?
Can the same reasoning and conclusions drawn (if any) be applied to texturizing?
Can you disprove this hypothesis (even though I think I know the answer):
Is successful coloring from the same weight of paint cans gvie the same success? (should easily be confirmed/disproved via % on textures
Are skill gains related to the weight of paint cans used?
