Suggestion: Prioritize fixing Cyrene - I'm done!

I'm sure all the planet partners in the beginning had a special relationship and mindark was pulling their weight and showing how good they are until they were tied in too deep and then...

Just like certain players who were MA bum chums where they hung out in the evenings together...Where are they now

Just like the general participants such as you and me...Sound familiar?

This part annoys me a lot.
Mindark identifies they have communication problems. So mindark takes money out of the lootpool to hire a "community relations manager". MindArk then muffle/silence said community relations manager when issues arise where communication is needed... Allowing the community manager time for gifs, good mornings and general chat about confectionary and cookies.

But in all fairness... In my experience "My- the community manager" has been great. Replying in PM and seemed genuinely invested in getting this problem fixed for us.
But it just seems like she hit the same brick wall we do when we try get some info from MA.

Great way to fix community relations alright

That won't happen here has there is too much devide and greed...too many people on opposite ends in the same place...we are not on the same side...the big investors are living in a fantasy world holding out for something to give that just might help them withdraw and busy feeding the rest how successfull they are...this whole thing is hanging on their words...as soon as they start talking it's all game over...think about it where's all those big time streamers and players all gone as soon as loot 2.0 came in. They didn't wait a day they were out never to be seen again.

Sorry if my posts have been a little negative lately but as like alot of you I am in the same boat who has invested alot of time and money in this place so we as customers have a right to speak and air our opinions wether good or bad.

When things are good we have good things to say and when they are bad we will say bad as it goes in any given situation. Ma or the forums has no right to censor or delete critical posts as they need to realise we put ma where it is today yes we the people who have invested a decade and more of our time and and 100s and 1000s of dollars....your existence is because of us...don't you ever forget that. And you the participants don't ever forget that either ...know your worth.

i blame both devs and management, of both mindark and their "partners". it's somehow always the same kind of story, isn't it?

I feel bad for the Planet Partners. If I ever become a partner, anywhere, I would like to be treated as one.

IMO - EU is now more stable and safer then ever. Learning curve is no longer deadly, and old school ubers going away because they cant TT profit on 4+ dmg/pec anymore due to loot 2.0? Dont see me sheding any tears there.

This game is in a nutshell - a casino. You have different slot sizes, from 0.01$ to 50$, you give 90-something % back to have retention and cash out a 10k$ jackpot every now and then. As long as there are shiny lights twinkling - EU has as bright future as any casino. Whoever can play markup game properly and has big enough PED card can even profit off of it.

Been away for 8 year and Im back now. Nothing changed. Back in the days UL SIB weapons were starting to drop and replace UL non-SIB making them obsolete. Now - the same is happening with efficiency - high efficiency replaces low. UL SIB weapon that would cost 100k PED in 2009 (e.g. Korss 400) nowdays costs what? 2k? Less? And you have some 80% efficiency crap costing 50k PED instead. In 5 yrs theyll "invent" some other stat and make those obsolete and churn perpetuates...

And you think ppl wont shoot shiny mobs in hope to loot that new expencive bling thingie? ROFL.

That's a scummy answer. Existing missions will be deleted. And new ones will be added instead. Apparently, in about ten years they will be added.
 
The worst thing is that they gave hope all these 2 months. And then they literally say: We just scoffed when we asked you to be patient.
Cancellation of any major event or quest is of course possible. The reasons may be different. But with advance warning. How this happened is a mockery of everything and everyone.
I sympathize with topikstarter and all other victims.
There is no longer any hope for Mindark. They died morally.
 
1. Create new armor
2. Create quest to complete the armor set with x components
3. Check component availability in game (player inventories etc) - 108 15 The ORDER BY position number is out of range of the number of items in the select list.
4. Hmmm? Fuck it, let's add the mission anyway!
 
This is the kind of incident that would warrant legal action in the real world.

"Hey! Come spend all your time and money to gather these materials, to trade for this armor!"
"Sure!"
"Mmm actually no. No more armor"
"Wait. But i already gathered all the materials?"
"Yea tough, our mistake, you get something else later instead"

I know if I was addressing my loyal customers and investors, taking history and lack of confidence in my company into consideration...
I would be keen to reassure them that the utmost will be done to ensure their financial investment was not squandered, due to these internal developer errors.

But no. Another carrot on a stick for us donkeys
