Introduction:
My BP-70 Perfected has reached the dreaded tier 2.99, the due to the flagrant market manipulation of Opals, the tier cost is prohibitive to progress. Consequently I am interested in offering this as a group project, sharing the cost of tiering with those interested in benefiting from the utilization of this amazing weapon.
Here is my proposal: You help me pay for the tier cost and I will let you use the BP-70 for a mutually agreed upon period of time to make it worth the expenditure for you.
Estimated (markup) cost to tier: 7,000 PED.
NEW: Cost to tier can be broken down into smaller chunks if you'd like to use the BP-70 for a shorter duration of time.
The estimated tier cost will be divided into 70 blocks of 100 PED each.
BONUS: For every block paid, you will be given credit for two hours of Captain Jack's Modified FEN Fap Service pro bono.
Note: If you choose to pay for the entire cost of the tier upgrade, then the tier upgrade will be conducted as soon as I can gather the materials to do so and you can benefit from the higher tier rate.
People who have elected to pay for a larger portion of the tier cost will be prioritized when there are multiple people interested in using it simultaneously.
Factors to consider in determining time period:
Do you use (L) weapons? How much do you spend on (L) weapons per week?
How much of a difference in Efficiency will you see between your present weapon and the BP-70 Perfected?
How much of a difference in DPP/DPS will you see between your present weapon and the BP-70 Perfected?
To illustrate the potential benefit let's crunch some numbers here...
We know that weapon efficiency directly affects average TT return by 0-7%.
With that statement in mind we can deduce one of three possibilities.
Possibility 1: The average TT return can be plotted on a straight line, with each 10% efficiency point roughly equating to 0.7% higher average TT return.
Possibility 2: The average TT return can be plotted on a curve.
Possibility 3: The average TT return is some sort of hybrid between 1 and 2.
Of these three possibilities I see #1 being the most conservative and as such I will proceed with the presumption that this is how it functions.
With that in mind let us compare some weapons. For simplicity I will be comparing the weapons alone with no enhancers or amplifiers. Cycle rates will be calculated by the weapon's rate of fire multiplied by the cost per shot. PED savings are based on the efficiency savings factor multiplied by the cycle rate of the compared weapon.

Disclaimer: I'm not a math genius and these numbers are estimates. Specific savings will be marginally variable from examples above.
