They surely made at least a snapshot before starting the update.
Rather find it troubling that the problem with the update did not show up on the testing servers.

LOL As bad as this is do you really think they have any testing servers. Remember the release around 2009-2010 where you could hardly hit a mob because the hit box was screwed up. That's when I figured that they probably do not have testing servers because it would only take a minute to find that bug.

If my memory serves me well, they said in a recent interview on youtube that they had to improve communication even between their departments.
So my educated guess is: their testing department works very well, their live department works very well, it`s just the testing manager never communicated / communicates with the live manager
So they had to hire a communication specialist, but his weekly days-off are ALWAYS just before the new VU / patch release day

Hehe you are assuming they do any testing at all. The programmers say "Oh its fine just release it" It would be very hard for me to believe that as bad as this is MA would have tested anything before release.

it is confusing, since PVP3 was and has been the contaminated zone on Calypso.... And it would be awesome if they got rid of vehicles in PVP3!!! But unfortunately I'm sure they mean the non lootable pvp zone we have started calling pvp1 since the original PVP1 was moved from north of PA.

I'm guessing the new mission is in that zone now?

We will see once update is live.

IMO this update is a bit underwhelming, unless the mission chain has lots of content. Again we will see....

No performance issues but my fans are working twice as hard now.
