In theory, patches fix bugs from an update. In practice at MA, stuff can get changed around a bit more than that in a patch and can also include code for later releases etc. The problem this often causes with pps is that stuff can get included in a patch which turns out to be bugged, but MA then don't seem to care much, either about hotfixing nor the timeframe to the next vu (my opinion).

Yeah, Calypso daily hours are 5, but binary, so 10 by day... which often leads to confusing time messages from overworked developer work.

Good catch! While it would not be accurate to say they can't get anything right, it seems there's nothing they can't get wrong, especially times, dates etc.
Or maybe they actually mean it? Maybe...
