Zombie shouldn't be a problem as we have UL bps for it but eMINE has been getting a bit harder to obtain recently (specifically arms) so if you know anyone who has bps lying around, send them in our direction so we can keep the stock levels up for you. If you are planning 10 sets at a time then it may be better for us both if you PM Tim or I here or email us an order from the website - www.southernfortress.com.au

That way we can give you what you need in 1 hit rather than having to rely on getting it a bit at a time from the shop.

For the 2013 Newcomer Iniative though I will need just a simple rascal (L) set per month of gender to be specified depending on the avatar who wins and completes the 100 & 500 puny mob missions before claiming it.

As far as a yearly prize goes, that is something that is in the works - Probability only at this point in time.

Aye I can say in all the time I have been purchasing off these guys, I do not mind the little additional markup as I know I can rely on them, and for the (L) gear it is still way way (did I say way yet) cheaper than UnL gear.

Of course those are all much rarer, but Infiltrator is good for the price and Rut/Spa are both great and cheaper than most of that level.

Would love to do this again but i have lost the ability to edit the posts that far back in the thread due to a 4 year editing limit with this version of Vbuletin. 711 tried to alter that for me a while back but even his cosmic powers were no good I've been meaning to completely rewrite the shop thread for ages, and include a new one on PAF as well, but it never seems to make it high enough up my priority list. Thats why the majority of our info is now kept up-to date at our website (see below). We did have a full catalogue with stats and stuff, but i need to update a lot of graphics for that to become worthwhile again.

Yep, Rut and Spart are lootable only. Necro, i have never seen BPs drop for and Infiltrator is rare as hens teeth. Peg and Pers we'll get eventually but as KJ said we've been waiting a long time already for the BPs to drop.

It's a shame Serum Arm Guards clicks are so rare, because unfortunately we can't help with this. I really wish we could, but Serum is one of those armours that unfortunately just doesn't seem to drop BPs in any sort of reasonable fashion

Hi Everyone,

Its been another "usual" month for SFE. Tim and I are busy with RL investment work as well as SFE stuff and I'm still working fulltime as the hospital....I really don't know how we do it!?

Singapore was great, got to see plenty of beautiful scenery and experience a vastly different culture to what we are used to. The architecture is absolutely amazing...Lucasarts even has their building in Singapore in the shape of the Jawa Sandcrawler! Amazing! It's definitely somewhere I would like to visit again as I'm sure we didn't cover it all even though the island isn't big.

We did visit the A-Team and met everyone (great bunch) but before anyone asks, No we didn't get to learn any cool secrets about things coming up. And tbh I wouldn't want to know as for me that takes away the magic and surprise of being a player....that and I'm generally rubbish at keeping secrets anyway!

Anyway, back to the grindstone now. I had planed on doing a competition this month in celebration of SFE's 7 year anniversary in EU, but as its already the 11th and I've got a pile of other things to do, that will have to wait till next month at this stage. But as a sneak peek, I'll at least tell you that the prizes will be 1 male and 1 female set of Berserker INCLUDING THE ULTRA RARE FOOTGUARDS!!!! (thanks to Slither for giving them to us). Missing footguards for some of the lower end armours is a personal bone of ours that we are STILL nutting out with the Calypso gods after all these years, but I wont harp on about it now.

Also, you may have noticed in the last week that the PA Mall shop has been closed.....This is due to renovation work by me. I've changed the layout a bit with the intention of putting all our Arkadia armours on Shopkeepers (on the left as you walk in) and returning our full low-end range to the shelf. In addition, Ankitus and Cetus will now be available on Calypso....and as a special treat, we also are stocking Koroma which is proudly supplied by KikkiJikki Defence on Arkadia. I'll post a notice when I'm finished (hopefully this weekend) and then you can run in and grab some great Arkadian armour! Make sure you tell your friends where you got it!

We are also hoping to get some event happening on Arkadia in the next couple of months so stay tuned for that!

Hi Everyone,

Not much to tell you this month. RL keeping us busy as usual.

I've had to put the events and competitions on the back burner again as I simply haven't been able to get enough time to myself to bash it all out. Rest assured that we will get things moving sometime soon.

Some news that a few people have been waiting on however - Aquila (L) will be added to our range soon!!! We are in the process of securing the last UL blueprint and we will then release it fully to our range. It will be stocked both at Sanctuary Cove #3 and PA Mall once we have sufficient stock to get it out on the shelf. We had a lot of enquiries about it last year around Mayhem but were unable to fulfill the orders due to the UL blueprints not being available and very limited clicks around on the L blueprints. This will not be the limiting factor this time around though, so if you want it for Mayhem or anything else, it will be available soon.

Notice to Miners of Arkadia: Let us know if and when you have Dianthus Crystal Powder for sale as we will need it for Aquila!

Don't forget that our ENTIRE Arkadian range is now available on Calypso at our PA Mall shop on Level 1.

Hi Everyone,

Well, the word this month is: AQUILA!

Yep, that's right Aquila (L) is finally here. It took us awhile to gather a complete set of Unlimited blueprints, but now we have them and now we can add this fantastic armour to our already impressive range of crafted armours.

Initially it will be available from our Sanctuary Cove shop on Arkadia and our Port Atlantis Mall shop on Calypso. Later on we may increase the coverage to Celeste Quarry as well but that remains to be seen.

Speaking of Celeste Quarry, we have requested an upgrade of our Booth item points for the next VU. This will also allow us to bring another 2 armours to the Quarry so if you have any opinions on what they should be then please let us know. We will also be needing more shopkeepers for them so if you have any for sale, let us know about them too

Events are coming. We haven't forgotten, we just haven't had the time to devote to doing it yet.

We will get there in the end!

Hi Everyone,

Well, the word of the month WAS Aquila.

Unfortunately, Tim and I have been flat out and what with the new VU issues (some of which are still not fixed!), and we are yet to actually get a stock of Aquila on the shelf at Sanc Cove and PA Mall. For those eagerly waiting for it, our sincere apologies. It will be here in time for Mayhem as we know how much demand there was for it last year when we didn't have any of the unlimited blueprints.

The VU issues have further delayed other projects too, such as the event we have been planning to run. We haven't forgotten, we just haven't got there yet........Yes, I know I'm starting to sound like a broken record here but we will get round to doing it.

Something we have managed to get done (one of few things in fact) is a revamp of all our marketing graphics. My intention is to upload everything in one hit (in world), once we have our new uniforms (supplied by Anthony Ranger Morris).

For those interested, all the graphics have been redone by Iulia Robotzelul Pitic. We have been absolutely blown away by the quality of the work and can't wait to unveil it to the world. Check out his awesome service here. We'd like to go on record as saying that Robo's service is officially supported and endorsed by us; this is not something we do lightly or on a whim - those of you who have known us over the years know that we take our EU reputation and business very seriously.

Anyway, there's no rest for the wicked, so I best get my nose back to the coalface

Visual bug effecting items in SFE shops

Hi Folks,

Due to a number of bugs that managed to ride in on the back of the recent VU, SFE's shops are currently suffering a bit of a display issue.

All of our armours that are normally stocked on Tron Display Columns are experiencing some visibility issues or just straight out glitching graphically (in the case of gloves). However, any armour that is currently sold from a Shopkeeper is unaffected by this bug and should be able to be purchased normally.

This bug is currently affecting our Sanctuary Cove, Port Atlantis Mall and Twin Peaks Mall shops.

Support has been unable to give us an ETA on when this will be fixed nor has their suggested solution helped.

So at this point, if you need something from us that normally is stocked on a Tron, please PM me here or at PCF (ACEwoK) or email us on orders@southernfortress.com.au and we will custom make what you need and arrange a time to meet up.

Other than that, all we ask is that you are patient and wait/hope that Support can sort this out soon.

We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause, but its all in the hands of Support (and Lootius) at this stage.

Hi Everyone,

As usual, Tim and I have been flat out with RL, and with the continuing VU issues from last month, several of our new projects (including a stock of Aquila) are still on hold. However, since the update yesterday, the main bug that was causing us grief, seems to have been fixed so we are getting ourselves back on track. Checking in this morning, both PA Mall and TP Mall shops are now correctly displaying all items and so I have restocked both stores.

There are a couple of holes in the line up, but we are working to plug them as soon as possible.

Like everything else (due to the VU issues), the events we have been planning to run have been further delayed but will get under way at an appropriate time. We will work this out so that it doesn't conflict with current community events on Arkadia and at a time where we are also available to actively support the goings on. In the meantime, we are looking for people interested in running sponsored events for us on Arkadia. If you are interested, then please contact me @Planet Arkadia Forum or email.

The revamp of all our marketing graphics, is all but complete. I only need to take a screenshot of both Tim an myself (EwoK) so that we can update your shops exit sign and I can then upload everything in one hit and make it all nice and new and shiny!!!

Happy New Year!

Goodbye (and good riddance in some respects) to 2013 and hello to 2014!

Now that the seasonal silliness is (hopefully) over, we can (hopefully) get back to normal operations around here! Unfortunately, Aquila (L) is STILL not on the shelf and our new graphics are STILL sitting in the directory waiting to get uploaded, so those are our main focuses this month and going forward.

We will also soon (hopefully) be completing the BP set and releasing BOTH Pegasus (L) and Perseus (L) armours into our range. Once we have established starting stocks of them, they will join our current Lorika Tek range in both Sanctuary Cove Shop #3 (on Arkadia) and Port Atlantis Mall, Level 1, Shop 10 (on Calypso). So keep an eye out for these new additions!

Into February already?!

If you aren't ready for the new year yet, then you better hold onto your hat because it's barrelling along like an out of control train!

Material prices seemed fairly stable last month except for a couple of out-layers so almost everything stayed put....which you would assume would mean that we could take a little bit of a breather.

Far from it! In fact, we completed our acquisition of the last of the blueprints needed for Pegasus (L), meaning that not only can you now order this high-end ARKADIAN armour from us (which is a quite good in its PvP stats) but now I have more materials to add to my ever growing list. Work for me, yes, but also a boon for the Arkadian mining community!

Also on the horizon is Perseus (L)....the ultimate of the IFN armours released on Arkadia. Previously it was available from the Arkoin Brokers but now is only available from crafters like us. We are just 1 blueprint away from making this little beauty available to the Entropian community, so stay tuned in the weeks to come.

Lastly, we are also still looking for anyone interested in running some events for us, so please contact us if you are interested in learning more.
