hmm below is my recent support ticket to ma....
im sure ill get the standard BS reply though, so i don't know why i bother...

Bilton Towers / New Oxford

I purchased an apartment in Bilton towers because of its location to a great city and a TP that new people start off with. That meant it had a premium over other apartments. A premium i hoped to use one day when i get into the beauty more than just the random help new person have hair instead of balled :D

Even old players dont start off with the New Oxford TP and the City is just like any other tp/outpost type setup. Nothing it used to be! The view of bilton is completely rubbish from what it use to be. So everything i paid for is gone!

Yes Entropia is "dynamic", however, YOU control the dynamics. For you to completely ruin something people have paid for is just utterly incompetent and WRONG.

Please inform me if New Oxford is being rebuilt to its pre VU10 form so can figure out what i am going to do with my apartment.
 
i also have a apt in billton
before tower 1 was closest to a tp and now it's the most far from it

I already sended a suportcase about it , no anwser yet tho

i am in 4, they moved it closest...i thought that was a bit odd and agree they shoudl be fixed back

they have doen similar to genesis as well. fortunitly i am still near a TP but now its in teh centre of a 4 towers, I can longer say TP to genesis and head to the tower in front of ya.

I feel for thoughs who are worse off, we all expect thinsg to change but not this much. did the robot space ship actually do that much damage when it landed that ist some how made everything move around randomly with out doing any damage to the buildings.

They need to quit with the BS and just keep it real. Its real money were playing with, not monopoly money MA!!!!!!!!!

Why not just say, man we are trying to figure this stuff out and/or we were drunk and didnt realize....

Seriously...the story should not ruin what people have put into the game....and entropia is only as dynamic as MA makes it...

that was same reason I got a billton apt , was nearest building for beginners.

I guess we payed the extra money just for the special wallpaper there:rolleyes:.

if MA doesnt bother with landowners and storeowners , i doubt they wil with apartment owners.

So i think supportcase wil be useless, maybe we chould be happy we only lost few hunderd ped :eek:

I just have to say this...

Every support case i have seen where you either call ma incompetent, cuss, or otherwize blame them directly, ends up taking a huge while longer than others.

Ive even done a few experiments myself, despite the mood im currently in i almost suck up to the support persons ego, saying please, saying i understand if theyre full etc, then i get a reply almost instantly.

When i use my real tone of voice saying how disapointed i am with something, and even worse, blame them directly, it can take a month to get a reply.

Just a few thoughts you people should have when writing support cases.. dont be so harsch its not the support personnels fault that the designers f.up.

I'm kinda pissed myself that the Bilton TP has disappeared ... although the view also sucks, I could live with it if they give us back our TP, as this was the main reason I bought the apt.

Hmm i dont get that kind of response...its always the same regardlesss...but the support cases are our venue to express that to MA, in my opinion. Is is our whats the word they use, umm....official channel of communication....

They have said in the latest VU that they will be making some adjustments - let's hope that they manage to satisfy most people without making a lot of other people annoyed. Could be tricky - people who's locations have improved will not be pleased if their apartment blocks are moved further away from the TPs

but i cant...
i have been saving this year to buy a shop that i could do beauty stuff in and sell stuff as well...
but this irritates me so much because now i dont see why i should do that...why should i invest MY money into it if you can make changes so easily that change the value of MY investment....

that is my problem....
im not going to leave the game..i lvoe it..and will play it and depo and hunt as always...

but why should i make a bigger investment?

that is my problem...that is what is frustrating me sooooooooo much.....

You guys basically took the beach out of a beach front view for so many people. We dont care to hear about all this tech problems or stuff. You can put it back just like you did many ohter cities and such.
That is what people are waiting on. Were not waiting on these excuses. MA are the ones that need to build our faith back in you. And i know from reading that i am one of MANY that feel this way.

no one really cares about some spaceshpi that crashed into the world and destoryed everything or those concrete eating worms.....we want our stuff that you took away back.
 
I Agree totally with Adam that every effort should have been made to protect or compensate for altered property investments and pehaps they will... So I believe the support cases should be very clear and detailed as to what the problems are and what the specific changes were and what specific changes should be.

There is some hope that maybe they will be incorporated when and if they get arround to altering the cities... as their is some desire for it comes from members of the staff...

Sentimental changes

Considering Alf has lived with Calypso for nearly 10 years, he’s had to get rid of some of his old work during this big change. Some of it is dearly missed by the community, such as Minopolis.

- I was the guy who built Minopolis, so I hope we can reinstall it. It’s one of those unique places that had its own charm, you know? We need more of that.

Right now, the main objective is to make everything work, but cities and their feel is something Alf holds close to heart.

- Eventually my vision is a very specific style for each city, so you really know where you are just by looking around you. That’s in the future, though. Port Atlantis needed a revamp first, since it’s the newcomer city. It’s more sci-fi now, with the clean lines. The old Calypso had way too much concrete and dust.

Alf and his crew are going to redo a lot of what you see on Calypso.

So I think it might be important to frame the support cases in a way that supports the aspirations of ALF so that he and others can use as justification for the the making his changes along with yours...
