Ok so things seem to be a little down at the moment.
Bugs, updates, things not working, ect, ect.

But 1 thing that seems to be going good for me is the Argos.
So im doing a little experiment to see what i can come up with hunting Young-Scout.

Equipment is...
M2a with scope, P3a with A102 and scope.

I will be doing hunts with 5k pistol ammo and 2k rifle ammo, Total decay "should"
bring the total hunt expendaure to around 100PED per hunt +/-.

Im going to put each hunt result on this thread. First hunt will be later today.

Yeh i had a 91PED cb19 from 1 about 2 weeks ago, the hunt before this started saw a 200% profit, 140PED from 7k ammo.
If i had started this log about 2 weeks ago the 2 runs sofar wouldnt look so bad lol.
 
3rd run was almost a mirror image of the second run.
103PED total spent
35PED Return

68PED loss

Only 1 pair of very low TT knight thighs (F) the rest was the same as run 2 almost.

Took big loss last 2 days, also lost over 200PED mining so this experiment is on hold till i next deposit.

Whats the decay for ur scope? If i am not wrong, the scope is kinda useless on maxed weapons but then again, if u are using it for some sort of nightvision then yea.

Goodluck with ur hunts, u'll definitely need it.

Decay on scope is not much, my weapons are (L) and not maxed which is why i use the scope.

That doesn't seem to be born out by your statistics, but keep it up. Your luck may change soon.

Are peds on the first post total? Or is it the outcome for each run?

I have been hunting argos these last days. Usualy do 100 ped medium ammo runs on them. Been breaking even, but did a run when i only got 20 ped return, lol

Yes, I put the results on the first post, Total profit/loss for each run.

Been thinking about doing another test after this with 100PED pistol ammo and say 20-30PED rifle ammo and see how things look then.

Maybe im just not hunting for long enough to get through the endless no loots to find the globals lol.

Just a thought for now.
 
What is your armour? you could save decay be using smallish armour.
Argonauts do not bite that hard, maybe you are overprotected?

pixie/2a or gnome/2a is usually enough, unless you meet a hunter.

Still what baffles me is the return.. in 2004-2007 k ammo was enough to at least get 80-90% return back and sometimes make profit.

Gnome + 2a plates.

I can take up to and including guardian.

Next run tomorrow.
 
I'd not hunt Argo until you have a better gun (m3a/UL1), but that's just my opinion. I'd also speculate that if you're fapping more than once every 3 mobs, you're too low level.

Those returns really, really, really suck. lol...
Hope things turn around soon, but the sight won't be helping your bottom line for a start and I'm sure there's other areas you could tidy up on too~

Hmm, what kind of equipment do you guys use to hunt argos?

Am using:
goblin + 2a
riker u1 + a103
opalo for finisher :)


Just switched to using a103 on my u1 instead of a102 and realised that the a103 decays like mad... It can't even last 10k ammo....
Anyone with a similar problem?

Shot the goblin, Thats acid armour, Get a set of Gnome and put ur 2as on that :)

My weapons seem ok to me and i need not fap at all with the protection on my armour.

Looks like it has ;)
