Thanks for this log, it's an interesting read.
Your tt return seems to be where it should be with your looter skill and armatrix setup afaik. maybe even a bit above average. With your grinding you'll easily hit L40 looter and improve your average return of 0.7 %, which would mean 700 ped more for you in the following month (in theory).
Another important value is kill count. Do you have that, and would you like to share? 100k ped turnover on 4-6 ped mobs means ~20k kills ? From my experience it takes a lot more than 20k kills to hit a 500x or more.
Also, what's your MU return? There surely must be ~2 % return or so from your hunts? At least EM mobs should give you 2-3 % MU.
Hey Lava, thanks for the input!
Kill Count Question:
I have not been keeping track of kill count, I just wanted to focus on my tt % return and how much that cost me a month hunting and mining at mid to high level, which is where I have fun playing the game. If it makes you feel any better about my returns, I hit a big multi this month, which helped my numbers a lot more than normal. So, this would be a really good month for me.
MU Return Question:
To start with I am not counting the MU I lose in items I use to hunt and mine, which is pretty equivalent to the MU I get back in return. Speaking on EM MU... I am assuming you mainly mean the Easter Mayhem Boxes, I don't sell them, I just open them. But, in general most of the MU I find is pretty crappy. Far more Shrap than materials, and even the mats are pretty crappy MU, with most higher MU mats taking at minimum of a month of building before sell-able, which ties up a bit of ped over time. Hard to save up 10000 extractors!
My Returns Statement:
As you mentioned, my returns are actually some what better than normal, and I agree with that. I usually am down around 8000 ped a month playing at the level I am playing at. If reaching level 40 looter, which I am getting really close to will save me 700 ped. That should bring my average, best case scenario to 7000 ped a month loss in TT, which still seems a bit excessive to me!
Final Thoughts:
I still think the cost for fun in this game is incredibly high, especially for those who have played for some time and don't have the excitement of a new game experience. I think that is why almost all of the people I personally know who play at this level have either A. Dropped to lower mobs to hunt, B. Dropped the amount of time playing, or C. Quit. Which makes sense there is some kind of wall at this level that takes a lot of money to break through.
Keep in mind these are just my thoughts and opinions.
A couple questions for, Lava:
I also have a couple question for you, Lava. What level mobs do you normally hunt? What is your experience hunting high level mobs on a very consistent basis? Also, how many hours of the day do you hunt?
