Only if you promise to look after him, and feed him, water him, clean up after him, buy him nice things and take him to the vets when he needs his jabs!

To the Late Leaders of the Loot,
I am aware that you currently have your doors closed, but i thought i would put forth my offering for when those glorious doors should open again.

Let me tell you about Wesley ( my real name isn't wesley. Its Dustin)

I'm just a regular Joe with a regular job.
I'm your average white suburbanite slob.
I like football and porno and books about war.
I've got an average house with a nice hardwood floor.

Above that i live in Newfoundland Canada. Home of the most eastern Point in North america (The whole greenland thing is really controversial). I am a PE junkie. I am currently getting !!!!! by university ,and I have PE to thank for this. This is not a complaint :D . I am all about the lootius. Nothing pleases me more than that shiny Gold Pile comin up in my loot window. I Am mainly interested in the Church of Lootius because of the great organization and team activity. I have formely lead a society which was dedicated to helping out noobs and the like. I have since passed on my thrown to another player, So i could try my luck here. since everyone seems to be giving out their signs, im a Sagetarius. He is known as a great hunter! allthough he had a horses ass. Wesley is my name, Lootius is my game, When i fail life, i have PE to blame. :D

I would like to put in my application for the Church of L.

I also in NJ like Wren, but of the Southern part, so I am not in the armpit. so more like the Belly Button. (GMT -5)

A Libra like Ultima.
35 years old with a 3 year old that would help me Sweat. But now that I am fully hunting, as a Long Blader, I do not let him watch anymore. He tries, but now I try to play after he is in bed.

Build my own machines, had this last one for almost 3 years (No Crashes) and it still cranks.

I liek Pretty much all kinds of music except for 2. (Country & Music) I do really enjoy Techno.

Work 9a-5pm job in an industry that I did not go to school/college for. (Long Story)

Been playing for a couple of months, every since the Space Station was purchased and hit the mass media/news. I was surprised I had not heard of PE before that.

Anyway, always nervous to be part of a soc because i am not that great of a "networker", but I can try, but I am always up for a good time and up for helpping others.

I would not need the noobie kit since I am pretty well equiped already. I doubt I can be a mentee since I am pretty well skilled. I can even donoate some pixie armor since I finally had some good drops last night. Several pieces of pixie armor. I have to research what other mobs drop other pieces so I can get full sets together. My Goal is to get myself a full set of Shogun, since I got Gloves on a mob.

I have not focused on Getting all the Outposts/Teleports, but I can do that easily now.

Anything else you need to know?

Yes the Name comes from Star Wars: Wedge Antilles. (I just liek the name) Been chatting with that name for almost 15 years now. (Been chatting longer than that.)

And I like giving Hugs. :hug:

But i don't think we accept new members atm cause there were already a few new members added last month (i'm one of them).

The reason for not getting any respons yet - other than my pm's to you - is because we are always having meetings about peoples applications.

As I wrote you, we recently opened doors for new members - but we also closed them again. As I also said, we will take in new people again one day, and untill then you are welcome to write an application in this thread, so we know who might be interested.

A lot of people wants to join CoL. We are not able to or interested in accepting everyone. Everytime people send an application, we have a circle 1 meeting about it. This takes time - and we always discuss why we think people should join or not. Our goal is not to be a top 50 soc - and have most members. Our goal is, that the members we have fits into the society-group, to give us the best personal relationships and no left-out'ers. This is very important to us. And if we do not agree at the meetings, we also use time for a soc-poll. You can imagine that this is not done over a weekend.

As said before - people who are interested in joining CoL are most welcome to write their application in this thread. But be patient - we will return, when we have a result and when we want new members!

Ok. I just thought that I would have thought there would be a post saying, "hey, glad u want to apply. We will look into it and get back to you." Sorry to assume that. I am just used to being ignored and feeling invisible. Pretty much why I have always worked on my own even IRL.

Sorry to hear that you feel that way :( ? I thought it was obvious when I pm'ed you and asked you to put in your application in this thread, and when I told you we would look at it from here, that we would return as soon as we could? My bad!

Noone is being ignored when they write us! Sorry!
 
Well ok. I'm in. I am a patient person, I just did not know one way or another after I had posted. My fault for assuming. I created my own society just to get a title of Captain on my Avatar. (If anyone gets the reference.) Wedge Antilles is the name.

I had many Pixie and and Goblin armor pieces from the one night I had a good run in hunting. Had to sell them to repair my weapons. I kept Pixie Arm, Thigh, Face to try to make a whole set.

Well I guess you did not understand my pm to you, at the time you wrote me the first time?

CoL has closed doors for new members. Therefor I asked you to write an application in this thread. I am sorry to tell you that we yet didnt open doors, but what I tried to explain to you is, that WHEN we do, we will look at the applications in here and pm people if they are still interested.

We have not yet had a first-cirkle meeting in soc, and I cant even tell you when the next meeting will be either.

Sorry mate - its not because I wanted to confuse you in any ways, but my English is not as good as I (and others :rolleyes: ) wish it could be!

Memorandum

To: Church of Lootius Admissions Department
From: Studley Airedale, Master, Grumpy Old Men


Dear Sirs and/or Madams,

I understand that you are not accepting new pledges at this time. Please file my application in case you open your doors again.

Please consider my application for membership in the Church of Lootius. I am easy to get along with and have a good sense of humor. Some have said that I am difficult, but I assure you it isn’t true. I’ve soundly thrashed many of my critics for suggesting that I’m not a jolly fellow. So far, the police have not found me so I am still able to play PE.

Although I deny being grumpy, most of the time, I am an old man 100% of the time. My avatar is in superb condition and can climb mountains and run long distances without even taking a deep breath, so being old is nothing to be concerned about.

I believe I have an IQ > 50. I considered offering my ability to type as evidence of his but then realized that some of the stupidest people on this planet, as well as on Calypso, seem to be able to type.

It is true that I am currently the leader of another society. I am the only member of the society of Grumpy Old Men. In a few days, MA will again disband the society for lack of members. I formed Grumpy Old Men after leaving another society that frustrated me. That society leader’s favorite activity was to organize team hunts and then just sit in one place and chat while everyone else waited. If we left him and hunted, he collected a share of the loot without firing a shot because he organized the hunt and we couldn’t kick him from the team.

I got tired of that very quickly and decided to move on. Ah! There you go! There is the PROOF that my IQ is above 50! Perhaps you will also understand that it was my former society leader’s behavior that inspired me to become grumpy.

I am relatively new to PE, starting on January 20th and playing four or more hours EVERY SINGLE DAY, since then. There have been several 16 hour marathon playing sessions. If I didn’t have to work for a living my butt would probably be melded to the chair by now. I wouldn’t shower, shave or do anything else but play PE. I’d probably look like Tom Hanks did in ‘Cast Away’.

Unfortunately or fortunately, depending on your point of view, I received a bonus from a job on January 30th and I chose to invest part of it in PEDs.

Currently I’m wearing a boar harness and ghost armor on my extremities. My primary rifle is a Fire Forge 8000M with an e-amp 15. I also carry a Marber Bravo-Type Plasma Annihilator with an A105 amp and an amped EWE EP-32 Enforcer pistol. In close I use a Katsuichi Valor. It does the most damage per second. I have no plans to upgrade any of this equipment unless I’m lucky enough to loot something of great value.

This combination and my current skills allow me to kill Atrox up to provider with ease. If I am hunting Atrox and find a guardian, I can kill it too. If the guardian sees me first, it may kill me. So far, Lootius has seen fit to resurrect me when this happens. He hands me my ass and some super glue and I glue it back on and try again.

My primary skills are for hunting but I am also making progress as a miner. I’ve tinkered with tailoring and coloring but to put it honestly, I couldn’t trade those skills for 10 dung.

I believe it is better to be a low-ranking recruit in Lootius’ service than the Master of a single user society that gets disbanded every five days.

I understand that you will make fun of me behind my back whether my application is accepted or rejected. I’m okay with that. It is only fair since I do the same to you.

That was too easy. I created a society Called "Gold Wing" so that I could have the title "Captain Wedge Antilles." Kind of a obscure Star Wars character Reference.

It has since been disbanded because of lack of membership.
