where can someone find pioneer armour?

Last place I knew it was available was the Zychion Citadel armorer back in the pre-Typhon days. I haven't looked to see if he's set up shop again. If not, it may be a 10.1 or 10.2 thing.

While faint praise, Pioneer is twice the armor that Settler is. I suppose thats because the lunch boxes they make Pioneer from aren't rusted. :)
 
used to be one in hades too, but hades is now part of history as we all know :/
dunno if there are any armorers left in the game :scratch2:
 
I looked but couldn't find the armourer.. but I guess I want it for the silly novelty.
 
used to be on CP too, but as CP is not up yet we have to wait and see i guess :laugh:

btw, why would anyone at CP need to buy Pioneer? :laugh: :eyecrazy:
 
I know what you mean. I wouldn't mind a set for sentimental reasons myself.

When I was a total noob, and didn't really know anyone on Calypso, I studied maps, looked on EP and here, and figured out that I needed to try to get to Zychion Citadel to get Pioneer and an A-3 Punisher Mk I to better equip myself.

I managed to finally make the eastward run, and found... ruins? But.. a citadel is a fortress! What happened? Then I found the screen in the A Block corridor and the story of the brave defenders of Zychion.

I got my armor, I got my gun, but those words on that screen, and the rubble outside? MA got themselves a customer. :)
 
There's also craftable Pioneer isn't there? :scratch2:

Used to be an armorer in Ithica too that sold it. North of Tp in a building with a technician and a tailor I believe. That was last VU though, I haven't explored ithica since VU10.
 
We sell both Pioneer and Guardian (both craftable), although not right now as we're still setting up our shops all over again in the aftermath of VU10 with shops being somewhat nerfed.

www.southernfortress.com.au should give you the info you need, and when we're up and running again we can help you out with what you're after.

Pre VU10, Pioneer was also available from Armorer, however I honestly have no idea what the story is now.

If you provide the materials I can make you a full set of Guardian and most of the Pioneer - unfortunately I don't have the Pioneer Arms BP which seems to be quite rare (certainly compared to the other Pioneer BPs).

I do have the Pioneer Arms (L) BP though so I could substitute those.
 
Hi all,

Just to let you know, we have restocked our shops for VU10. It still won't let us put up signs or shopkeepers, so they're not looking or functioning as they normally would.

However, the armour IS available for sale.

A few ways to work out what you're after:


First, you can simply browse through our shops, located at:
#10, lvl 1, PA Mall
#10, lvl 1, TP Mall
#26, Area 2, CND
Treasure Island City, Silver, All of Block A
