Which skills gives the most health... And how much?

having unlocked coolness a few weeks ago i decided to chip some in hope to gain a bunch of hp's. chipped from 503 to 1938 and gained 3 lousy hp :( .... was hoping for close to 5, oh well
Thx for sharing. :)

That means that coolness can max give 1 HP for every (1938-508) / 4 ~= 360, and will minimum give 1 for every (1938-508) / 3 ~= 475.

Based on this and the fact that some numbers are too high in the list, I set coolness to 1/400. (Was 1/300 before).

Courage 1/(400-500)
Atheletics 1/ ~1000
Combat sense 1/~1000
weapon handling 1/~1000-1500

so basically all combat and general skills give 1 every 1000-1500 with the few hp-giving skills as exceptions.

All from pe-wiki though, so if someone with more skills posts, consider what I wrote overruled.

I believe so....
:scratch2:

My friend made an avatar and he had 88 hp. He got 2hp on 1 hour hunting :p on 400 rifle he had allready 92 hp :yay:

Please do... It looks as we need to adjust Courage a bit, if your numbes are correct, while the current number for Combat Sense seems to match your experience.

But please, post more precise numbers, if you have them...
Thx :)

yeah the info about courage cant be rite...
when you chip coolness from lvl1 you get about 4hp
and you dont get more on courage...

4 HP from how much coolness?

And according to our summary list in the first post, Courage actually does give more HP than Coolness.

As announced the values about Courage and CS:

Chipped out all my Courage (4863 skill points) --> HP dropped 15 points. From 158 down to 143.

Chipped out all my Combat Sense (5523 skill points) --> HP dropped 7 points to 136.

Ill post all other in the progress.

Kyl

Chipped out all my Melee Combat (734 skill points) --> HP dropped 1 point to 135.

Just a small miss I assume? Since Pshyche is Attribute aswell

4 HP from how much coolness?

And according to our summary list in the first post, Courage actually does give more HP than Coolness.

I ment one "normal" chip 9.99ped
I know you say that courage gives more hp then coolness but I find it hard to belive. that chipping 9.99ped cooless give less hp, then one 9.99 of courage.

An idea for this little project: Note the results in ranges, and only put confirmed results there.

Like kyl lost 15 hp from 4863 courage. Infact, this means he lost somewhere between 14 to 16 HP. So this leaves us a range of 347 to 304. This is something we can be 100% sure of. And when new data show a range for example 330 to 290, the new range can be changed to 330-304 etc.

As in all cases, mathematics is not subject to opinion nor requires belief to be true. The amount that counts is the number of levels of the skill, so the tt of the chips going in isn't relevant unless starting at the same level. If you have evidence to support your suspicion please share.
I agree Witte, that would be more useful so the trend will be toward more accuracy, not a sum of inaccuracies.

Edit: It would help a lot if people chipping in (or out) would wait until just after gaining a HP. Then we would be able to cut the uncertainty by half.

Oh my...

Ehm... Good suggestion.
It's just... More work for poor little me. ;)
Ah, ok. I'll survive. I'll add the confirmed ranges to the list.
Thx for the good idea. :)

Chipped out all my Coolness (2583 skill points) --> HP dropped 7 points to 128.

None other Attribute moved yet.

Chipped out all my Rifle in 4 steps:

Code:
ESI Skill drop HP drop
 18.20 TT 7187 to 7135; lost 1 HP
337.20 TT 7135 to 6067; lost nothing!
314.23 TT 6067 to 2452; lost 2 HP
 17,91 TT 2453 to 1; lost 2 HP !

wired isn't it?

total lost 5 HP on 7187 skill from 128 to 123

Hmm, rifle is overestimated:

5 hp on 7187 -- 1198 min to 1797 max per hp
1 hp on 52 -- 26 min to infinite max
0 hp on 1068 -- 1068 min
2 hp on 3615 -- 1205 min to 3615 max
2 hp on 2451 -- 817 min to 2451 max

So, 1205 to 1797 Rifle per HP

Can someone check me on this please?

...
Edit: Something's wrong here:

From 7135 to 1 with 4 HPs gives min 1/1783 and max 1/1427 ...
From 6067 to 1 with 4 HPs gives min 1/1516 and max 1/1213...
From 2453 to 1 with 2 HPs gives min 1/1226 and max 1/817, right?

How can the min (1/1226) be higher than the max (1/1427)??? :scratch2:

Can someone help me here, please...?
I think I'm doing something wrong, or maybe the data is bad.

Vedder, for the min you need to divide by one more than the HP loss (eg. 130.99-->129.01 is a loss of 1.98 but only registers as 1 HP lost). For the max you need to divide by one less (eg. 130.01-->128.99 is a loss of 1.02 but registers as 2 HP lost).

The best numbers I can find from the data are:

7187 loses 5 HP: Min = 7187/6=1198, Max = 7187/4 = 1797
7135-->2452 = 4683 loses 2 HP: Min = 4683/3 = 1561, Max = 4683

So rifle lies somewhere between 1561 and 1797.

Oops i forgot the combinations -- they give a narrower limit. :ahh:

Thanks for catching that. Rifle was wayyy overestimated.

Oh, right... :duh:

I guess I was too tired. :)
I'll update the post.
