thx for all the feedback. I was a bit amazed that you feel sorry for me, because i never really got harmed in this case, well the heart-sheit but you know, this wasnt the first time and wont be the last so i can live with it.
what i fear is the raising potential of his scams. the usual armor scam in 06, 150peder esi in 08 and now a knife (or sword) worth ~5k ped. Back when i dismissed C.L. from my soc and warned HW about him, i thought i can close this chapter. I was wrong and i am sorry that i didnt say something earlier, but i have seen to many witchhunts here, too many ugly stories about nothing or not much.
On the other hand it was "Monica", i just keep telling him this way, who altered my sight on ingame relations a lot. She made me start to analyze everybody very sharply and trying to find the characteristics of true trust and reputation. She didnt make me paranoid, just raised a natural suspiciousness towards each and everybody.
I am still lending away expensive items now and then, but before i make sure that people have more to lose than they can gain by scamming me.
Lez talked about the feeling and sometimes i gain a 100% trust to a person after a few sentences, Blast/Meculus was such a case when i picked him up from Swamp Camp i kinda instantly knew that i can trust him, god knows why, but he never failed me. I would like to thank all the people who i find trustworthy, they make my EU experience so much more rich, on the other hand i also thank those people who trust in me, lended me stuff, helped me out with some peds, believed in me and followed my crazy ideas like in WoF.

I got to know J.j.J. 2 month before that. Yes i think that they are the same persons. I cant remember the first weeks to well, but i think Monica loged between 2 avatars these days even though she never showed me the second one. So what would be interesting to know is the name of the avatar jonvalle bought his own bicak Kek from, maybe he is the next in the row. There always seem to be 2 avatars (at least), one getting a "reputable" and well known one, with the focus at getting as trustworthy as possible and one seller-account in the background who remains unknown.
cant quote it often enough!

Hi,
Thanks for reporting. You did exactly the right thing. You protected yourself and your belongings. Human nature is not homogenous and this will also affect the Entropia Universe since it has been made to resemble the real world in as many fundamental ways as possible. You will again and again come across people who try to take advantage of your misplaced trust and want to rob you of your possessions via legal in-world means. When this occurs, there is nothing MindArk can do for you. Although low and despicable, this is something that can happen in real life too. Therefore you have to be really careful and check that everything is really OK before you close a deal.
Regards,
Entropia Support
