Description :

This is a large flying green insect.
It belongs to an aggressive breed of different xenoinsectopods
equiped with a poisonous stinger.
When it attacks the sharp stinger can puncture the thick hides of almost
any type of creature.

There are some around the crater north of Echidna, mostly to the west side of it if I remember correctly.

near castle which is located on island ... E of PvP3
 
There are a lot about a minor TP West of Troy, south of the spider + trox spawn, east of the bots (maybe 800m east of teh spaceship).

easy enough to colelct 20 on you then go do some bot hunting.
 
Damage test

I did some damage testing on these in preparation for WoF.

Pupugi didn't do any decay on Kobold, Goblin, 6a or 6b which rules out everything but Stab and Shrapnel.

As usual with damage tests I will assume that they don't do Shrapnel damage, since as far as anyone knows no mob does Shrapnel.

So Pupugi damage is confirmed, 100% Stab.
 
Where is Pupugi atm? Can't find it.

WoF team Russia got a 6k pupugi during WoF 2010.

This (if I remember correctly) was when MA introduced a large spawn of Stalkers etc for the WoF

The only ref I could find however was 'gratz on the 6k fly' in the WoF team Russia thread 2010
 
The swamp on the eastern volcano island? Mixed with other flying bugs though, i think.
