Your Hero in PE?

theres no1 ingame that i really idolise or worship, but when you say hero...

i think who would i like to be like ingame - well, if i take the MF route, Noggin. if i take the huntin route, Jitterbug ;)

My hero is Nevil when i started the game he helped me alot he bought me amour a gun an ammo evan when he was a non depositer an had to take care of him self as well :dunce:
 
Can't remember any specific ppl but some who just passed by and did something nice without expecting any kind of return, its important.

my third day involved buckaroo banzi and Swimingstone Outpost, i dont know if he remembers helping me back to civilzation but i do and he gets my vote.
 
My hero is def. Nam's.
He left PE about 2 years ago, a real shame. I didnt know him that well, we just got into a conversation of wind and weather. Later on I had some difficulties on the rig and he didnt hesitate to lend me his V1 w/o collateral. He was also kind enough to help me slay my 3rd aranea which was a huge undertaking for me at the time.
He left with a 2 min warning kind of, dont really know why cause he seemed to do well. Just before he logged out the last time he gave me what he called a friendship hof containing some pistols and stuff.
Really generous person in all ways and truly friendly.
To this day I have no idea who he was, I think he was a freelancer and never joined a soc. More peeps like Nams ! =D
 
My heroes....

Tanya Jen - first person that trusted me, 3 years back then i was selling some lyst for that person making small profit

Akoz - back then, also 3 years ago he also trusted me so i could make my few first peds

K-Rock - at my very first days we met in pvp1... he was in armor i was in orange jumper... he was very kind and gave me my first item, a pants. He also explained me the game a little.

it's good to have such people at beginning... good indeed.

My Mentor, my heroine...

Narcissa 'Mynx' Gryffon, who else...? :eek:

I've thought it over and decided to add some support to my initial statement about Mynx. Otherwise I'm afraid it appears as some sort of adolescent crush, situation....

#1. Her diligence in making sure I understand things about the game, how it works, what to do, and what not to do. She carefully covers everything from the basics to the more indepth. She is also careful not to overwhelm, which with a game like this, could happen. I know that when I want or need to know more on a particualr topic she will be there, ready to fill me in.

#2. Her generousity. Allowing me the use, early on, of virtually unlimited ammunition as well as a fap. The current loan of a full set of pixie armor, as well as instructions on what is best for me to purchase, depicting the full range of options. Along with this goes her trust in me. I thrive in a situation of trust. I will never cheat someone, but for those who have little trust in me, I will simply wander away emotionally and physically.

#3. Her inspiring me to reach out. Without her help, I would most likely still be in Port Atlantis sweating and dreaming of other places, if you know what I mean (I've just finished reading the 'Rules' so I will leave what other places to your own imagination.)

I have plans, goals, hopes and dreams in EU today. I owe all that to my mentor, Her Mynxness.

my hero

My hero is that unknown person behind the avatar, the player who decide to fap me when i am in danger, the person who decide to answer to me when i ask an advice about the game , the players who cares for the comunity .
In my country we have a statue for " the unknown hero".
My hero is that player who changed my attitude toward the game and toward the comunity.
 
DUKE! he went hunting with me when i was just running around in rascal with an mk2, he was shooting with his ml35 or something, running around with shadow, and i was telling him "hey.. this isnt really fair is it, ur spending much more than me, yet you have set the teamsettings to equal, you should get the majority of the loot.." and he said it was ok like this :eek:

i pm'd him with gratz sometimes when he got globals, but not too much thinking it would get annoying, but he always said gratz to me when i got my rare global :)
 
Sun Oroz Smith is the guy!! without him i probably wouldent play EU anymore. He have helpt me alot during my 6 months playing EU. He is helping so many noobs. thx oroz u :headbang:

hmm my heroes....i would have to say most of my soc mates because they put up with my constant quesitoning :laugh:.
Also the many "friends" on my FL...dunnno if they like me or not, i hope they do:rolleyes:. I would say Starman and KILLER Miller Thriller for giving me advise on tailoring. Buzz for letting me ask him a question or 2 and Akoz for his advise on pvp, still need practise tho lol
 
After 6 months of playing, there are a lot of players who have helped me in various situations, and also players that I look up to - but as some have commented, 'hero' to me is really a newbie state of mind - someone I was immensely impressed with when first starting to play.

So I'd say Razor, nowadays a member of Novus Ordo Seclorum, but at the time a member of my current society the Irken Invaders.

Razor helped me get started, took me team hunting, and rescued me from 'impossible' outposts - thanks Razor! :)
 
Benjamin Ben Rusnarok, is the one player I like and respect the most in Entropia except for the the people in my society.

Jitterbug??? YOU HAVE TO BE KIDDING ME!!! She is a well known scammer... just do a search for her name here in the EF

If Jitterbug is your hero then that makes you a scammer IMO! Not to mention that her avatar has N00b skills and she SUCKS at hunting. That scammers name should not even be mentioned in the same sentance as Noggin's
 
Current hero - My society mate, Sol. He hasn't deposited in 18 months yet he still has peds for nice weapons, armor and clothes. I aspire to be as good at PE as Sol so I can play for free.

Honorable mention: Laurel. I was stuck at an outpost with 2 other noobs, surrounded by feffoids and atrox. At that time, one atrox would kill all three of us. Laurel came along and offered to help us out. She set up a team with equal loot. That was VERY generous considering she was using more expensive weapons and doing more damage than the 3 of us together. We would have gladly joined her team even if she set it to leader gets all loot, just so we could get out of there. She led us out of the outpost safely on her first try.
 
my hero in PE

My hero in PE is my soc mate,broadstone who help me alot to get starter in this game..and also mel tat teach me how to hunt and showing me the place in PE..learn alot from him about hunting.and also goldhand from dask recruit tat teach me how to success in PE without deposit and the way to be a trader..is great to hv them as my fren.. :D
 
Warning: Thread Revival

My heroes in the game are few and far between. Uber armor, weapons, or skills aren't what make a hero for me. Beamer was one of the few "uber players" who treated everyone equally. It didn't matter if you were a noob or an ube, he always had time to talk to you. He didn't change after having a run of great luck and outfitting himself with uber gear.

Honorable mentions go to Steele from Boar Hunters and Striker (can't remember the full avatar name, there's lots of Strikers out there!), who took me on my first hunting trips and I did some running for them.

Thanks to KapokWu for mentioning me. :)
 
Well, kind of a necro but ... I can't avoid to notice how many once well-known names in this thread are gone now :(

In that case you should adress him properly. His name is "Mr. X-1 Torrent", for reasons only MA can answer to. ;)
 
One of my heroes I get to be friends with every day is a little nub I call DarkFire, there is also a new hero in town and his name is RazorFire, this man is truely amazing.
