Quest for my father's blade continues!

My Father's blade has been returned to me! Thanks to PeteHines for completing the difficult task. He won 200PED.

And for his invaluable assistance, Tox receives 100PED

Well, as those who helped my original quest know, my father's blade was never properly recovered. Whoever found it, took it and never gave it back.

Well, I just received a strange and disturbing private message.

It seems my father's blade has been hidden again. I call on you, my fellow Calypsians, for your help again.

Since I really want it back, I've raised the reward to 100PED! I am also offering 50PED for the most points scored on the land owner's land, based on globals (details below). Perhaps posting screenshots here can help track down where the blade is.

RULES:

<Prize #1>
Hidden on Colonist-owned land is a blade. Find it, record the exact coordinates, type of blade and TT value, and return it to me with this information to receive 200PED prize.

<Prize #2>
Participating hunters/miners who global/hof/ath on the proper lands during this contest can gain points toward a second prize of 100PED.

To earn points, you must post your global/hof screenie in this thread with time and coord stamps in the chat box. (C & P buttons) The global/hof must occur on the proper lands. (A Troxie global at the rig doesn't count.) Points will be awarded as such:

Hunting global = 1 point
Hunting hof = 3 points
Hunting ath = 10 points!

Mining globals/hofs/aths count as double points! (I.E. 2,6 & 20 points respectively)

The one with the most points when this contest is ended wins the 100PED secondary prize!

In case of a tie in points, the person with a global/hof/ath closest to the lost blade will win.

Contest ends when I am informed (or discover in any fashion) that the blade has been discovered. Awards will be held until the blade is safely back in my hands.

HOW TO ENTER:
Searching for the blade is free to all. Just find my father's blade and return it to me please.

Participating in the 2nd prize package will cost you ammo, bombs and decay, but no entry fees. Globals/hofs/aths must be posted on this thread (see above for details) in order to count.

some possible clues:
1. combibe? (a clue to combibo? or just typo?)

2. my least favorite land owners and one of his lands.
(try those multiple land owned by same avatar, most likely banned avatars or Land grab land..... i'm sure he doesn;t wanna offend those land owners.LOL)

3. berries from the tree just to annoy u.
(berries don't grow up the tree. only bushes, so land with bery?)

conclusion:
it's at a land area with trees owned by an avatar that has lots of lands inculding that marcus calander and those whom get banned and probabaly have some "berries" like object below it or probabaly berycleds and combibos hanging around there.

hope more clues will be out :p

I can see it now... 500 avatars all lined up about 10 meters apart from each other... all walking slowly from one end of TI to the other in search of this blade.

That is one big LA to try and cover on your own. I think I will just wait for a couple more clues. LOL

Well, it seems there's a difference of opinion as to where to start looking. I hope the good detectives of Calypso are working hard on this case.

well, obviously combibo and bery's aren't on ti (i don't believe), but there's only one place that globsters roam, so i guess that clue could be meant as mere misdirection ...
 
Well I don't knwo about you all but I'm off for home to start looking I THINK I know which land to start in.
I'll cross my toes for luck though.
 
Some analysis before I go to bed:

Globsters appear on only 1 LA:
Treasure Island (Owner: Zachurm Deathifier Emegen)

Foul appear on 2 Amethera LAs:
Treasure Island (Owner: Zachurm Deathifier Emegen)
OLA #32 - OLA32 (Owner: Genesis gen Yang. Previous owner: Zachurm Deathifier Emegen)

Combibo appear on 2 Amethera LAs:
OLA #35 - Chilly West (Owner: Zachurm Deathifier Emegen)
OLA #30 - Combibo & Mourner Heaven (Owner: Max Nostrop Donner)

Berycled are a little harder to place as they are on many LA's, but both Zachurm Deathifier Emegen and Max Nostrop Donner have areas with them on.

Considering it from a different tack though, the phrase "combibe your resources" suggests a clue about mining. Perhaps the Land Area is known for resources that can be formed from the word combibe?

Cobalt, Binary Fluid & Belkar?
Copper, Binary Fluid & Belkar?

However, that may be a red herring, as I am not aware of a single land area that has all three of either of those combinations confirmed.

Yeah, i'm sure its probably on one of deathifier's lands - somewhere in the north of the snowy area possibly... i know that those damn berys annoy you when you're hunting the hispidus

That strikes me as focusing on a specific land owner. Maybe you guys can figure out which one.

Of course, if that land owner owns multiple property, things could get difficult. :(

Just bumping to see if any more clues have popped up. If anybody has a global screenie from LAs they think are related to this whole thing, post them here (don't forget the time/position stamps). Maybe they can help.

Got busy crafting didn't get around to searchign yesterday today I will go back on this quest for hey i cna use 100 ped. }:>)

Keep in mind there's 150PED in prizes. It is possible to win both the 100 and 50 PED prize packages.

Yeah I know but I suck at globals. }:>( my skills are not so great.
Oh also not sure if you consider this a clue or not. what blade is it? I'm guessing a castorian enblade-a but wondering what i shoudl be looking for.

ok from what i got, the landowner is deathifier all those mobs he has on la,

combibe could be a typo, and combine the resources

meaning the actualy resoursces (ores/enmatters)

drop berries from a tree, well the berry land from the screen shot i saw was pretty tree less

so i would start and look for a tree and look under it on berry land

la36 i believe.. hispudus land

i have limited time to get on so i wont take part but i hope i help

C'mon with the global screenies, folks. Let's see if we can narrow down where this thing is so I can get it back.
