Welcome to Nirfu’s one field coloring service.

I have documented success up to Mauve. I prefer to do just one field.

Price 70 cans per field and you bring the cans. I use the needed amount of cans and keep the cans not used.

PM me here on EF and we arrange a meeting.

No Success granted (but so far 100%).

You know that whit only coloring just one field the others often turnout white and then look great. Maybe add a color to your basic pants?

If you bring a not 100% repaired item some of the TT value of the used cans will be added to the items TT value.

120 Cans for just one field?
Not very cheap if you ask me ..

I use 80 cans per field for 3 field coloring AND I return the looted PEDs from the TT Value of the paint after coloring. Leftover cans are also returned.

In another thread you wrote that you just use 1 can per try and need ~4trys maximum 10 trys .. so you use 4-10 cans and keep 110-116?

Yep, but I can try with Mauve without using 500-1K cans as you propose :)

But not allways success with 4-10 cans. I will need more in some cases.

And I could also do the same with several fields if u want.

And no fee for bleaching and no 25% TT value if success as you used to (now you do for free I know).

So If to expensive I lower a bit more :) Now only 70 cans.

+ If bringing not 100% repaired item, the peds stay in the item and does not go to me.

Well, everybody can try with 1 can :D

I dont know where I ever stated that 25% TT .. but never mind.
EDIT: Found it, darn another mix up .. that is L. Mountain, not me :cowboy:

Btw, this was not that I think your service is bad or too expensive, only thing I didn't enjoy reading was "Cheapest on Calypso" while there are some people coloring for free since long time allready.

I was thinking about Kin (Keltigirl) and Etopia, they always used to color for free.

Anyway GOOD Luck with your service
have Fun & take Care

Note taken. And I'm sorry for mixing you up with mountain.

That's why I did put a questionmark in the thread header. Maybe I should change in the ad too. I will do when I have time.

So far customers are pleased.

I heard that it is no longer possible to use one can when using colors that you have yet to unlock. May I ask you if this is true or if you're still able to color this way?

I check and come back...

Yes it works as usuall.

My techique still works.

EDITED: Ooops, double answer of the same question.

hey Nirfu, which colorator do you use?

My old unlimited TT colorator :)

I have thought the same as I think you do, is there a difference between old TT and the new limited?

hehe :) (got me)
Yes now that you say you use the old one I think there is a big difference! I tried it with old one and it worked - I tried it with new one a couple of times allready and it seems that it doesn't work with it!

So file a support case? :D

Is it a bug or a feature?

New one advantage is less decay, maybe old one advantage is that one field coloring possibility?

I'm really confused. I have tested this through several times, and it isn't possible to get a result better than 20% using one can, no matter the colorator.

I had a friend who tested this with 500 cans, he's at level two at the moment. He was however using the (L) Colorator, but he didn't get any success at all. He did the same test today with the UNL Colorator, and he wasn't able to get any success at all.

So, was this fixed in the last minipatch? As I've been testing with (L) Colorators before that one?

Tested after VU 9.04, I have not tested today after 9.05 and I am a bit short of items to test on. I don't like the idea to bleach things with mauve color. ;)
So I have to gather material for some basic pants or similar to test this. But if u have some fine wool to contribute with, you are welcome.

Sure, I would love to know the result of this as I have never been able to get it to work. Are you able to meet me up at Ithaca right away?

I'm at work and will not be home untill 7-8 or so, then I have familly to tend to. Maybe later tonight. I think my ava is at Nus Lull OP at the moment, but it's just a short TP jump to PA and then I can be at Ithaca.

Looks like we have hijacked my service thread :( I have to do a new one..

sorry we messed up your thread :(

but I tested it yesterday Evening with terrible results!
even colors that worked fine for me before didnt work now. I tried different paints, different places and both tools. Nothing. I used 1 can, 10 cans and for higher paints than my level even 80, 100 cans - nope. Couldn't get any success :(:(

i could color 1 field pink with 3 trys using 10 cans EASILY before 9.05 but yesterday I burned 180 cans with NO success :(

Sorry about hijacking your thread. It looks like it has been fixed though, and I never even got to try it.

Yepp, did blow a lot of peds yesterday trying it, and no success :) It could have been bad luck, we will see if I dare t o try with a big amount of paint again.

I only wish I had done more coloring before it went away....

But as you might now, the whole thing with this thread was to raise this matter.

One thing with the new coloring I don't understand is why they made it so hard/expensive to skill in. I thought the big problem we had was that there was to few colorers in game. Now it kind of only support the ones that had good skills before VU9 and makes it really hard for anyone to be a good colorer.

It's actually a lot cheaper to skill up now, at least from what I heard from Kitten among others. The skillbonus has a great effect on the skilling, while skilling with colors below your level aren't going to increase it as fast.

A markup higher than 105% will of course make it terribly expensive to skill up though, as the TT Value spent, and not the TT Value of the paint cans used is what determines the skillgain. Brown and Violet Cream are both very nice skill boosters however.

True, you did say that the reason why you made these services was to bring up the topic. And I thank you for that, I've got to give you some +rep as well.

Yes, I have SIB on Navy ... now I would *never* use Navy to skill
Luckily I have SIB on Violet too ;)

Hey guys,

Not sure if this is what your wanting to know, though I feed any paint I get from hunting drops through the old TT UL colournator I have at the rate of whatever is closest to 0.20 ped or just above to cover decay costs of the colornator and bleecher. (ie 3 brown cans, 2 deep cadnium, 2 violet cream, 4 blue, yadda).

Anyway on occassion, not often, I do get a success on colours such as violet cream, umber, deep cadnium, etc using only the 2 or so paint cans, though the outcome is an extremely light shade of the associated colour.

~ Sparkz.

PS. Colour level is almost at 4. *smiles*

Yeah its super ultra cheaper now. in fact if a person were to get rank 15 in color and unlock sib in brown then skill up to 16 or 16.5 and then chip back down to 15 and sell the skill at the current markup you would make a few hundred peds profits.
