I think we had the best team guys. Our luck ran cold that last hour at the same time Romaina's got hot.
This final was so close. imagine if we had got the snark and they had not... sooo close.
Romania deserves our respect for putting together such a massive and successful horde of industious entropians capible of defeating us and sweeden.
Its interesting that the moblist combined with a lack of certain spawn increases had the end effect of reducing the scoring potential of support teams, thus elevating the scoring potential for main team softeners. Interesting in that it was my understanding that the addition of formal support teams to WoF was in part to allow mass participation while mitigating the previously controversial practice of softeners.
Given that USA has the most capible support team, it is tempting to suspect things. But that would be a mistake. WoF organizers are trying to do their best, and busy asteroid owners have many constuentcies beyond participants in a thee hour event they agreed to sponsor many months ago.
Good job everybody. It was an honor to serve with the best. See you next year!
