Description

This animal is also known as the 'Tailback', because of its very characteristic tail. Despite its fearsome appearance it's a rather peaceful herbivore but the large beast can also become quite aggresive if it feels threatened.

The Creatures section is currently under construction and this process will take some time to complete. The work is being done by volunteers with limited time, so please bear with us while we add the data. While this construction period is ongoing, you will be able to access the old Bestiary section which is archived in a sub-forum of the Creatures section. Each mob thread in Creatures contains a link to the relevant Bestiary thread and to the Entropedia page, so if you are looking for information that isn't yet available in the Creatures thread, please use the links provided at the bottom of the first post in the thread.

Thanks for the mission info guys, please keep that coming. The kill points awarded for each maturity would also be good to know. And if anyone knows any good spawns that aren't already in the OP, I'm sure these will be much more appreciated than they were before we had the mission.

I'll update the thread properly when I have more time, if another Creatures mod doesn't beat me to it.

I've got all the posted info into the OP now, but we're still missing Stage I info and I'm not able to get it myself atm as I'm off-planet. Stage X info will be with us soon I'd guess :)

We could also use stats for the Stalkers.

Also has anyone checked if the Puny gives any points?

I can confirm that shooting Puny does not contribute towards the Iron Mission. :)

Bakunawa Island spawn is mixed with Primordial longu young/mature.
 
Saw L5's at Osere mixed with Kerbs
 
Saw them from L5 to L14 near Jason Centre Teleport, but no very big density ad maturity is avg L9-10

Anyone found a good density spot from l4 to l8 max around caly?
 
Caudatergus Young: 3.0 crit reduction w/o buffs = 20 damage
 
61500,76000 Caudatergus Puny mixed with Berycled Puny & Juvenile.

A good alternative to Camp Icarus for those doing the Puny Iron, thanks for the tip Prometheum!

Bakanuwa Island now is virtually dead, saw 2 Caudatergus youngs.

on Chiee's Fund page this is stated

Medusa's Head - Bakunawa Island - Mining LA

so i guess atm the spawn has gone

There are plenty large ones up to stalkers on LA66 NE section
