FYI: CND mining is ruined

Obviously it sucks to lose claims like this and I hope Moonbiter gets this sorted through support. Personally though I hope that MA come up with a solution other than just leveling the ground. I have been up on CND since the climbing fix and have found it so much more interesting mining around the different terrains, rather than just running on a mainly flat surface. But I am fortunate in that I haven't lost any claims.

There are a few areas that are inaccessible still in some of the domes, but now the range has been reduced on the finders it is possible to avoid getting claims on them. I know this doesn't make it right, but for those of you thinking of mining up there, it is possible - just make sure you plan your routes through the domes carefully and take note where you drop in relation to the surrounding terrain.
 
3 days ago I made two or three small runs on CND. I found XI gazz on 85 degree slope. I spend 1h on extracting it- fall down, in this time try one click extract, run around scarp, climb on it where it was possible... and again and again and again... boooring...

I had exactly same problem yesterday with 68ped ganga. took over 30mins to get it all up :laugh:

I've had several X and XI's and one 93ped lyst stuck in a tree/rock on CND. didnt take a screeshot thought as I believe MA wont refund those :(

That would solve the mountain problem, but won't help with claims getting stuck inside solid objects.

Was on CND for the last 3 days. Claims suck big time but seem to be same all over and what happen there it use to be so nice. Dont see why CND had to be change the ship hit the planet not the asteroid. In one dome there 2 lake surronded with mountains with lots of drown trox. There was only a few trox alive and mining was a nightmare. Domes could use a lot few hills and more flat area. Will be good for hunting and mining. On the bright side the tp are faster and almost no lag. Hope they fix it soon.
 
Yeah I been there the last 3 days 35 oa103's later I gave up.
Terrible TERRIBLE mining, lost ~1.8k but it seems mining in general is just shit, haven't seen many HoF's at all the last 2 days.

Oh and sometimes when I revive I can't see the TP, have to run to the mall and press T again to make the TP appear when I respawn for the second time! >.<
 
On a brighter note;
I had an awesome time on CND yesterday.. so much so, I wish I didn't come back down to planet (might have to head back up!).
500 bombs, approx 15% claimrate (awesome compared to in the past) with oa101 light, no globals but average claims size X was great!
Didn't lose a claim, only found one hill I couldn't climb (I think it was north TP dome 14? Massive hill right at TP) and actually enjoyed the hours of beeping for a change~!

Yes but it was only for last week-end it seems. Hit rate is back to "normal" since monday
 
Hmm, does it help if you disable trees?
I know I have changed a setting in the config file for the graph engine, and I don't see trees anymore.

btw, some rocks are keep their bumbmap though
