I noticed there's no compilation anywhere of the upcoming planets with any amount of information on them. I had to do a lot of searching to find information. So, I decided to put together a list of upcoming planets with some information and links to them.

If you've got any more information to add just post it and I'll update this post.

Nerverdie Studio is developing Next island as well as Rocktropia and SEE virtual worlds planet.

You are correct that Planet PostModerna is not a planet partner yet, but they are working hard to become one. This project is not funded by some large corporations or some wealthy person but they are funding it with donations and by using people who like to make this dream happen for free.

Sure it is a long way from becoming a real planet, but they have some dedicated people working on it and doing a great job with the funds they have.

Yeah, it doesn't bother me. Maybe it's because I'm in game development. Or maybe because when something is delayed it gives me a reason to catch up on all the games I'm behind on.

The problem is that this stuff isn't an exact science and it's impossible to know when it'll all be done. I prefer this to constantly setting dates that get missed and pushed back.

I have to ask. How do you see Postmoderna a joke? You do understand it is an indie project right? No we are not a planet partner yet but yes we are working toward that.

Do you know how indie projects work? Do you know how projects get funded eventually? Do you know what is required to get it off the ground and to get a contract as a Planet Partner?

Feel free to share more about how you see the project as being funny.

Forgive me if I sound defensive but I thought I'd ask.

There is one thing we have that I am proud of is persistence enthusiasm.

Yes we do have a lot of people that help just say they are part of the project. There is a lot more to us than just trying to build a new world for Entropia.
