got a couple of mini globals in the mayhem practice...
Crafted up the old Shriek line of guns again. They'll be going up in the shop soon.
Also just put a bunch of Level V and higher weapon blueprints on the auction. Figure I don't craft these enough so may as well let another avatar give em a try. If auction doesn't go well they'll be put in the shop before long. On my budget I cannot have a ton of residue on hand tied up in L items even if they are fun to craft and hunt with.
Viper whip is sold in auction (there's a bid on it). Auction ends soon if anyone else wants to bid. I'll miss taming all those puny critters, but it's time for me to move up a level or two if I continue taming since demand for puny tameables is so low. It would have been nice to use viper to do the daily taming of tabtab mission forever to get level way up, but I get bored with that and some days it's way too crowded there now for it to be too fun.
Another whip is up in the shop if anyone's interested. That may be removed from shop on next shop restock trip upstairs.
I am EXTREMELY surprised that the Maddox IV GDC (L) Blueprint didn't sell on auction that was up last week since 5 of those guns are needed to do the Adjusted Maddox IV upgrade mission...
Oh well, maybe I'll start trying to figure out w way to stock the shop with that eventually....or just sell that bp in the shop too?

UL F armor is all in a row. on the 4 tron towers next to one another.
Mixed M and F armor is on the other side on the 3 tron towers.
Pets are on the railing by the stairs.
Guns and tool sare on the shelf by the stairs.
Mindforce amps are next to the pets.
Mindforce chips are right next to the stairs.
Melee weapons are out in the back room near the entrance.
Noob Grenade Launcher is out on tron tower near the front door. Price was majorly lowered on this vs a few days ago. Get it while you can.
P.S. quite a few blueprints are now on auction. Simple little things that I just have dupes of. Buy em while you can. Auctions have 7 days on em. After the dupes sell I'll start working on selling the bps in the books that are not dupes eventually. I just sold a bunch of them a few days ago in auction. More will be going soon...
As you can see I have bunch of items (5332 rows according to what planetcalypso's my items section tells me) so I am trying to downsize the amount of items I have as much as possible...

Re-arranged some things in the shop a bit.
Reduced prices on quite a few items. Swapped out a few things here and there too. Settler armor has been removed for now. Other armors may be swapped out with more powerful sets or other things over time.

They are not for sale as markup was removed, but markup may go back up on them if I can find a constant supplier for them. These colored lights really do add an atmosphere to the game no other lighting in game seems to do in estates.
The fountain that was near the room of the hallway outside is gone but the one on the floor that's less obstructive to foot traffic is still out there.

Currently in the shop:
I temporarily contemplated moving to another estate on Calypso proper, but since there's so few out there on the market, markup in shops is too high, and decor in apartment basements is so horribe I decidded to stay put for now on FOMA an look at what I can do to improve things up here... this really is a nice pace to have a shop due to the fact that item point count is as high as it is vs other places in game. For instance large mall shop in Port Atlantis only has 100 item points I believe. Here on Foma all shops have 200 item points insce and 25 in display area. It's nowhere near what Rocktropia has to offer, but since we are so close to Calypso now that Foma's orbit is closer to Calypso proper it makes sense to stay put for now. That's why I got the ugc sign and am probably going to add more to it over time. I'm also contemplating upgrading the estate if I get more consistent sales. I do get quite a few already but more repeat buyers, foot traffic, etc. could help. I am probably going to start talking to other shop owners up here more to create a better community like the one we had back on Omegaton back in the early days when I was in NBK Entrepreneurs. I'm partly thinking about maybe even restarting that socieyt if there's enough interest.

I temporarily contemplated moving to another estate on Calypso proper, but since there's so few out there on the market, markup in shops is too high, and decor in apartment basements is so horribe I decidded to stay put for now on FOMA an look at what I can do to improve things up here... this really is a nice pace to have a shop due to the fact that item point count is as high as it is vs other places in game. For instance large mall shop in Port Atlantis only has 100 item points I believe. Here on Foma all shops have 200 item points insce and 25 in display area. It's nowhere near what Rocktropia has to offer, but since we are so close to Calypso now that Foma's orbit is closer to Calypso proper it makes sense to stay put for now. That's why I got the ugc sign and am probably going to add more to it over time. I'm also contemplating upgrading the estate if I get more consistent sales. I do get quite a few already but more repeat buyers, foot traffic, etc. could help. I am probably going to start talking to other shop owners up here more to create a better community like the one we had back on Omegaton back in the early days when I was in NBK Entrepreneurs. I'm partly thinking about maybe even restarting that socieyt if there's enough interest.

IFN Medical partition should be renamed magic window since it puts a lovely landscape window type effect on a blank interior wall. Noticed this effect browsing the Calypso malls recently, and it does same thing up here on FOMA. Makes that dark back room in the shop's display area look a lot less dark and clausterphobic. I never really paid much attention to this before, but when you get in close to it and peer in it looks like a nice little landscape. with cliffs and a moonlight sky.
It also bounces interior lights back at you like a mirror so it's a very somewhat realistic window effect.
right next to the flowing water from the luxrious fountain is kind of nice change from what this place normally used to look like.

added more content to the megaview screen so it has the dome info listed above in individual images instead of the general summary as the uploaded file was a bit hard to read. Using fonts in the ad creation screen make it easier to read but is a bit pricy.... May add more info in there over time for various aspects of information regarding Foma, and Entroia Universe in general.

after the estate upgrade happens on the next vu I'm planning to probably put more mining equipment or higher level hunting equipment up by the main entrance of the shop. The new sign gives a lot of info on the mobs and stuff that can be mined in the domes. Now it's time to give those going to the domes the quipment they need.
Display area of the shop will mainly be the dedicated area for this as this is the portion of the shop that the upgrade should affect...
Regular type items that have traditionally been in the shop will still reside in the main area of the shop past the display area. I'm really not sure this was the right decision to do an upgrade but given the price of shopkeepers, and high prices of low item point mall shops on Calypso it just makes sense for now.
The 3 mall shops that Ben Dover is selling now are priced around 3.5k USD each, and they only have 100 or so item points. Up here in FOMA the main shop area has 200 item points and the display area has 25. After the upgrade display should have 45 points.
If the fountains don't sell before long I may remove a couple of them and just leave one or two. I like them since they give some interesting visuals and a lot of shelf room with low number of item points. If placed appropriately they offer a lot more shelf space in an estate than typically old L-Quent sideboard and the like...
Over time low end armor may end up being removed, but we'll see. The settler is out of the shop already. Other parts may be removed over time. I might leave berserker in there though since I like it's design a bit.

I'm still fiddling with getting the lighting right around the Megaview sign. It's dark in one corner and then too light in another, etc. Starting to get it evened out but not quite sure I'm 100% done with it. We are getting closer though. Hate to use so many item points for lamps but what good is a sign if you cannot read it. Of course, being color blind and working with red and green makes it interesting sometimes too, lol.

About as good as it's going to get. I probably could put anothe lantern in up top but that'd be overkill. It's already overkill but at least the sign is somewhat readable on most of the images. More info images may be added later, but that's enough for now.
If you adjust brightness and gamma sliders in graphic options it makes it a bit more visible in the darker areas.
The red green blue contrast and wall wash makes an interesting background for the info.

Shop is still open but my Avatar's moved over to Arkadia Moon for a while so I may not be updating the shop's inventory as frequently. However, I will still hop over and update when needed. Happy shopping.

Eventually I may buy a shopkeeper and sell apartments on FOMA in the shop, which is why the apartment map is in there, that and it's just a cool illustration that shows item points better than any other I've seen in the history of the virtual universe. (even though item points are hard to read in the sign uploaded since it's a bit pixelated in the way Mindark's upload thing reads small fonts, lol)

WE NOW HAVE TWO SHOPS RIGHT NEXT DOOR TO ONE ANOTHER!
Foma Shop 21 & 22 will be restocked over the next few days.
I'm having to rethink a bit about how to organize things since there are now two shops. There's a few items in there now, but more will definitely be added in the near future.
Look for the luxurious fountains and party lights, or if you are outdoors in the stadium look for the huge column. We are right next to the Block E Teleporter.
The business office is now located in Alpha West Floor 11 Apartment F. Any chamber of commerce meetings may be held there.

Shops are about half full at the moment. More items will be added to restock the rest of the shop in the next few days.
If you get lost there's a huge column up near the front door that leads out to the stadium that is pretty visible quite a ways away. There's also a luxurous fountain out by that entrance. There's a couple of totem poles there too that can be seen quite a ways away.
On the other side where the two shop entrances are across the hall from one another there's a pergola, some more fountains, and signs.
I really don't like how Mindark's my items section does not seperate estates so it's sort of tricky to do listings of what's in each shop since I move stuff around a lot and because the my items section doesn't show it exactly... more confusing now that I have an apartment here too up on alpha west floor 11, F....
At the moment some clothes and L armor parts of various pieces are in the basement of one of the shops. The remaining alpha core cards are in that shop.
Across the hall there's quite a few armor plates, a couple of heal tools, a ton of weapons and a few armor sets. The armor sets are mainly lower end stuff til I can get some stacks or residue together to do some higher end L armor sets. Happy browsing.

Still working on organizing everything so that it's easier to figure out where things are, lit so that things can be seen properly, and are visually balanced, etc. Slowly getting there. Queen of the Business office has grown her wings...
