The problem with mining from my perspective is that it's only fun if you get decent claims. When I have the inevitable bad runs, it's not fun at all. At least with hunting I enjoy the challenge of killing bigger mobs, or killing smaller ones with better economy, etc.

Yeah, that's the one. Have to say, he "deserved" his more than I did mine--the guy bombs away like crazy hour after hour.
