Mission 1: Help to reduce Atrox (monthly recurring task) on Calypso LA40, 24000, 28000.
Requirements: None, globals tracked automatically / details on recommended setup and Atrox (link)
Reward: 125 PED + unlock Mission 2.

Kill Atrox until you reach at least 15 globals.

Mission 2: Atrox Master – become a local celebrity (monthly recurring task) on LA40, 24000, 28000.

Requirements: Complete Mission 1.
Reward for completing all tasks of Mission 2: Jackpot 4522 PED (maxed @ 5000 PED). Each global adds 2 ped to this, each player every reward once per month.
Treasure: 875 PED (maxed @ 1000 PED). Each global adds 2 ped to this.

Kill Atrox until you get 88 different globals. Reward: 200 ped from treasure.
Kill Atrox until you get a global with 88 PED. Reward: 80 PED.
Kill Atrox until you HoF 2888 PED+. Reward: 350 ped from treasure.
Kill Atrox until you get 10 globals within a day. Reward: 90 ped from treasure.
Kill Atrox until you get 3 globals 150 PED+ within a day. Reward: 90 ped from treasure.

These rewards can only be paid, when the treasure is filled.

Post your HoF for claiming Jackpot. I recommend using Entropia Tracker (link).

Team hunts on LA40 events

  1. You have to be qualified. Find another qualified player from Entropia Universe Register and contact him. Qualified players are listed in tinyurl.com/atroxvalley post in PCF.
  2. Give your team name one players name as leader of your team.
  3. Let that player register/mail your team by an in-game message to me before you start hunting. Mostly I am online and will answer. By registration all team players have to be qualified and you have to name those qualified players.
  4. The leader of the team can qualify a second time now, same rules and restrictions apply as everywhere, like 8-ball prizes and others, the team leader counts as a new player. I will pay out prizes only to him. It is up to you how you share. As restrictions apply like above, e.g., the team cannot be the 2nd player reaching 110 globals for example. However the team can hit another 88 globals for example.
  5. The prizes that are limited cannot be hit twice by a team hunt (there is still only 1x Hidden ball, e.g.)

FAQ
Whats that "treasure"?
It was aruond 900p today. Max is 1000 ped. Small prizes are paid from treasure.
It grows each glob by 2 ped. Treasure: 958 PED (maxed @ 1000 PED).
U can look it up each update on the Mission 1 and Mission 2 section.
It says 15 globals to qualify, so do those 15 globals count towards the 99? No. As it says in section "III. Winning the jackpot" you have to be qualified to take part in the 8-ball event.
Similarly, if you get an 888+ ped while not qualified it doesn't count, right? No, the 888+ ped is a reward within the 8-ball event. However, to take part in the 8-ball event, you have to complete the mission "Qualification". So the missison "Qualification" is the requirement to take part in 8-ball event. No qualification, no 8-ball rewards.
Does Swirlies in HSL still count as a qualifer for the other event? When the HSL is on the 25 September or later, then yes. HSLs 24 Sept and earlier: no. Qualification starts 25 September, all HSL after 25 September count to qualification to 8-ball event.
Can I get payouts of Mission 2 like 33% of Treasure for 1888 PED+ global if I did not complete Mission 1? Can I get the 33% Treasure reward of 1888 PED+ HoF if I finish Mission 1 afterwards? No, Mission 1 must be finished first. Mission 2 is disabled / locked every month for each player. You unlock / enable Mission 2 by finishing Mission 1. Therefore, you can not get any payouts of Mission 2 if you have not done Mission 1 before. Mission 1 have to be done every month. Payout for Mission 1 can be taken once every month. You can not get prizes for one bulletpoint of Mission 2 before you have finished Mission 1.
Do mining globals count for Mission 1? Depends, in general Mission 1 must be finished by hunting globals. However, if you have already 15 hunting globals, you can do the remaining 35 globals by mining as well. Note that Mission 2 is disabled / locked every month for each player. You unlock / enable Mission 2 by finishing Mission 1. Mission 2 bullet points are solely meant hunting globals. Mission 5: Mining Expert is unlocked after Mission 1 is complete, see section 'Requirements'. In Mission 5 your Mining globals are awarded.

More detailed rules/clarifications/interesting figures (helps, but not neccessary)
Mussion 1 / Qualification
  • Qualification is Mission 1 now.
  • To qualify / finish Mission 1, you need 15 globals on OLA40 +88 ped global. This is the entry to other events. 88 ped global does not count to 15 globals, so you need 16 globals altogether or 50 globals without 88 ped global.
  • You must qualify / do Mission 1 every month to take part in Mission 2. You are awarded Mission 1 each month if you re-qualify for that month.
  • Mission 2 and all parts of Mission 2 (Kill 10 Atrox within 1 day to get 10% for instance) can only be done and rewarded if you did Mission 1. This is meant by 'Requirements: Mission 1'
  • Every player can do each bulletpoint of Mission 2 ones only and rewarded only once per month. If you do multiple times 88 ped for instance or multiple times 3x 150 PED+ global, you can get the reward once per month only, no matter how much you repeat it withon the same month.

Prizes
  • Whenever something states “within a day”, EU time from 00:00 to 23:59 is meant.
these have to be updated for new rules:
  • The 1-ball can be hit once within the event. After that, to win the 8-ball-jackpot you either need to complete the task mentioned in that bullet point (at least 888 ped global) or be able to cancel it with a reward (3rd to 6th player hitting +100 globals), but after the first player, it has to be knocked down without a prize. However, it is allowed to cancel this bullet point by the rewards of 3rd to 6th players that reached the mentioned amount of globals.
  • The 2-ball can be hit multiple times by every player. If you are trying to be the 1st to 6th player, of course at 88 globals it is paid out before you reach the next amount of globals, e.g., the same player can win for both 2x 88 globals also for 2x 88 ped.
  • The 3-ball can be hit three times maximum within the event. After that to win the 8-ball you need that bullet point, but after three players it is knocked down without a prize. A player can hit it multiple times, but there are only three prizes for all players altogether. There are not three for three players, there are three prizes altogether.
  • The 4-ball may be hit three times maximum within the event. After that, to win the 8-ball-jackpot you need that bullet point, but after three players it is knocked down without a prize. A player can hit it multiple times, but there are only three prizes for all players altogether. There are not three for three players, there are three prizes altogether.

HSL events time table, starting 1 September
EU Time, prizes in ped. Globals in HSL events count for all events generally, when the other event has started. First event is qualification, starting 25 September. Qualification can be reached within the HSLs starting 25 September. Qualified players globals count for other events.

Thank you for the inquiry. I will clarify this:
No, they do not count for qualification until 25th Sept., for 8-ball until 1st Oct. all HSL have only the extra peds from their specific description, such as:

- 50 ped @ 100 ped bonus
- 75 ped @ 75 ped bonus
- 100 ped @ 50 ped bonus
- 88 ped @ 88 ped bonus
- most globaling player gets 88 ped extra
- global size of the day, atm 99 ped @ 100 ped bonus

or even a combination of all above.
Read the event description from event register of the specific HSL in-game for that, it changes for each HSL event.

When qualification starts, the globals count for the achievement of qualification. When 8-ball starts at 1st Oct, all events are working together: Globals count for qualification, after that is achieved, they count for 8-ball event, any specific HSL rules for extra ped are compatible with the ongoing 8-ball event and qualification.

You missed 1 x 88 ped and 50 ped for early qualification. wargeneral and Torene had earlier 9-balls, however.

Should be 2546 PED at end of today. GZ! :woot: And at the moment, 1676 Jackpot is waiting to be won...

Your mining clock for 50 globals restarts, when you reach the 88 minimum globals for 2-ball. Its time to bomb! ?

For everyone, just to clarify again:

In order to win the Jackpot, 3-ball and 4-ball have still to be found, however without any prize, as that is limited to three times only until restart of the event.
