Participant content on signs HELP needed

I bought a Reon-T sign (PC) and was trying to add my own content on there.
However, I don't appear able to upload anything.

Can anyone help me on my way????

This is the screen I get and the upload button is not working.
The sign is fully repaired.

Do you not need to place the files to upload in a specific directory in your EU installation folder?

yeah!. try the "Content" folder in the root dir.

Hi Mags i think you may need to first upload your content through your account on the entropiauniverse site first for them to approve it , then it is able to be uploaded to sign ingame. Hope this helps.

Place image and video files in the Archive folder inside the Entropia Universe folder on your hard drive. The files will then be accessible from inside the Entropia Universe where you can upload them from your Archive into your Content Files. Once in your Content Files, the material can be used in Signs, Screens and Displays.

Signs, Screens and Displays in the Entropia Universe come in four different aspect ratios: 1:1, 1:2, 2:1, 4:1

For best results when uploading your own images and videos, you need to use the aspect ratio and the power-of-two format.

So once you place the files in the Archive folder they should appear in the list of the bottom window you displayed. Then you should be able to click upload and it'll go into your content folder, the window up top that you displayed, from which you should be able to apply it to the object.

Hope that helps cause I haven't tried it but it seems like the described process.

hmmmm.... this is crazy
I tried this, to start with there is no archive folder in the C:\Program Files\MindArk\Project Entropia directory :-(

I created one and copied files in there but still no joy.....

why is somthing so simple so time consuming.....

I don't have PE at work so I can't even look through the directory structure but in the Project Entropia directory there are probably other folders and you may need to look through all of them to find the Archive folder to place your content in.

It might be in a folder called Data or something like that or elsewhere. I'm guessing that the Content folder will be in the same directory as the Archive folder so search for both.

Some time ago I was missing the massive ad's folder from my EU directory.

I was told to uninstall and reinstall EU.

BTW, I have two Content folders :

Haven't test it myself, no time to go grab a sign pannel somewhere

When you are in the upload screen or Archive there is a little questionmark on the top right hand corner. This help feature tells you exactly where and how.

Ah documents and settings is where the Archive folder is... why didn't they just say that in the instructions.

Still not being listed in Archive to upload though no matter how many times I refresh

Well it will stick on the wall with 90%- picture hooks are getting really expensive in EU these days
Dont know about level needed for content as I haven't figured out how to put stuff into the frame yet.

I had mine fully repaired b4 I put on the content.
Once the files were in:
C:\Documents and Settings\Marga\My Documents\Entropia Universe\Archive

and sized correctly for the sign you have, you should see them
