Yesterday Lokomotiv Yaroslav airplane crashed and many great players died there
We lost Pavol Demitra, one of best Slovak forward, Czechs lost Rachunek, Vašiček and Marek, Stefan Liv from Sweden, Skrastins, Salej and many young good russian players, also Canadian coach.
Rest in peace guys

So fucked up ((( Cheap ass 45 year old planes are being banned in russia for past 2 years...taking too damn long!

Kārlis Skrastiņš - Latvia.

Let they all rest in peace.

No wonder it was raining all day yesterday.......... The skies were crying.....

Kārlis Skrastiņš - Latvia.

Let they all rest in peace.

He is NHL IRON MAN and one of the best defence man in whole world!

R.I.P, Kārli!

It is indeed incredibly sad. Idiotic penny-pinchers killing people again.

Saw "R.I.P - Stefan Liv" HOFing in game yesterday, found it quite fitting.

RIP our Iron Man- Skrastiņš and Loko team
Such a terrible disaster and big schock :(

RIP Pavol Demitra - SVK
Jan Marek, Josef Vašíček and Karel Rachůnek - CZE and others of course
It's a black day for hockey world

RIP to the Russian players and Swedish goal keeper Stefan Liv

RIP, sad to see these things happen. I remember watching Pavol Demitra playing for my hometown Blues for a good stretch of years.

I am not a ice hockey fan, but it is always sad to loose people and from what I hear it is a miracle it does not happen more with all those old Russian planes. RIP.

Realy terrible accident :(
I have my work place next to the arena where Modo Hockey (Swedish elitleague team) play their matches, they had the flag on half today because of the accident.
