You've been around long enough. You should remember that this annual "state of..." report is very new. Now folks are acting like it's an obligatory part of their business that's been done since year one.

Frankly I never expect them, but appreciate them when they occur, even if there's some parts that don't please me personally.

I would be leary of any CLD idea coming from ND. His friends might end up looting all the CLDs.

I don't appreciate that

- an investment of 6 million dollar by the players received a lower priority and was postponed to Q2 2014 (CLD funct.)
- half of what is mentioned in the state will again be delayed

I guess it is part of the RL world and many will continue to believe in it, if not will want to continue to believe in it ... even me ... somewhere deep inside I'm starting to hate the RL world and the companies in it ...

I thought for a couple of days what I thought of the announcement, and in the end, I only came up with a picture.


I'm not even sure what the picture means, but it made me laugh, and if I can find something on the internet that makes me laugh, maybe someone else will also find it amusing.


Bring on the version updates, and thanks for the roadmap. :)

Personally I find it hard to "appreciate" something that I feel has always been well-deserved by the extremely loyal and deeply invested playerbase.

If MA is giving us one of these, it's safe to assume it's not out of the kindness of their own hearts, but because there is something in it for them, aka, quelling unrest in the minds of its investors.
 
All forget that MA pay 60k CLDs they need money for themself so premium is teh next way to pay.

Btw its still implemented loot pills are premium.............

And MA take each way and allways to get into player pockets..........

Imo it's a way to increase RL values, which is well needed for them.

wow, amazing to see that people are still playing this game, didn`t think it would last for over 10 years! Gz MA, you did play youre cards damn well:)

so you REFUSE to use facebook but THIS is one of facebook's main uses. in fact some people have to be put on ignore on facebook because they post dumb stuff all day. but luckily you dont have to remove them as friend. facebook is sneaky like that ya see. every thing you could possibly imagine is configurable. your missing out! at least on your graduating class m8s and stuff!

Well, this is the third one. The first two were full of visionary ideas and plans. A roadmap to a grander future. This one is just genuinely unimpressive.

Only one thing jumps out: Premium accounts.
That seems like something which is going to screw over the economic balance, and make it impossible for non-premiums to have a shot at an even-remotely-fair return on game play. Giving people an edge just because they subscribe? Bad idea. And if it is bells and whistles, I wonder: how many will actually BUY it? Or is it going to be that you need premium to be able to use some CLD features, which were promised in the past...? That would result in another broken promise...

I remember when crafted tolls lvl V were still "state of.." the art.
Loong befire that time Ma had own forum for discussions and announcements.
Famous thread form that time for example Marco's "Im just curoius"where we got to know that MA Will badly nerf faps from fiull healing to 1/4 healing when running.
After that we had some iirc wich was hosted by Stratic com.
Latter we had forum there too on stratic com.
On that forum for few years i have read so called anual "roadmap" together with inreviews with stratic staff and MA.
Once forum from pioneer soc went more popular MA and mostly Marco transfered attention more there.
Maybe a year or two latter player named MindBuster decided to create his own forum and gathered forum users form pioneer soc forum to his own and promissing that there will be more freedom of speech, less moderation and less restriction. Latter he sold us to 711.

Now "sate off.." is not exactly equal to "roadmap" but we can stll stay we had some form of anual announcements for years like habit.
 
Interesting ideas, been a while since seen someting worth to waiting for. In general hope atleast some of the stuff will be implemented.
And I know, havent been online in a while ;)
 
Well I did do an ideas thread from another game for the devs but it got deleted.

Anyway if you guys at MA are interested in a few concepts that may work in Entropia.

Do a google search for <removed>.

Also, a youtube search has a lot of good videos demonstrating a lot of good ideas that could work in Entropia.

Ok,

Very frustrating, though Serica did mention some issues with it, which is fair enough.

However by the same token, fair go, it is something that I feel would benefit EU in development so I posted a thread on Entropia Planets forum. Look there, maybe there is hope of getting the message across.

I don't think I broke any rules this time :)

I think it is very sad that it has come to a state of the universe that is so scared of mentioning other games that ideas from could benefit EU.

Yes, the amusement is in seeing people who suffer the "Eyes Wide Shut" syndrome, I guess.

Not specifically directed at you, your still young in this universe and seeing its developments occur ;-)
 
I suggest they concentrate on running the game into the ground! Oops they have already been working very hard at that for years right? Well nothing new this year move along!
