maybe he looted off a umbranoid???
 
Doesn't it usually put the discovery after the hof?

Maybe he looted it off an umbranoid right before the team hof'd on a different mob (the mulman).

if daikibas can loot fractured argonout skulls i dont see why a mulmun couldnt loot a umbranoid whip :wtg:

That new umbra axe was looted from a rakash and mismin (or something) so it can be looted from other creatures.

GIEF stats!
 
I asked my society if they knew anything about it today when I logged on, and they didn't seem to. You will have to ask SirAttack to post the stats I guess. ;)

It was obviously looted from mulmun, look in hofs and compare the time stamp, same to the second

The whip might be similar size. Level 50ish i would guess.

Great damage, however, the durability is (in common with most of the high end melee weapons dropped over the last few months) 'below average'.

I don't think it would be very effective for taming as while it would reduce the animal's health down very rapidly it wouldn't reduce the respect level - so you could end up with a pet with low health and high respect (i.e you couldn't tame the animal without waiting for it to heal, whipping it some more to reduce respect).

I would love to see a Gibnib or a fugabarba looting an ATH... why not ??
