Why 65862 on all cars? What is so special about 65862?

65862 stands for a whole number between 65861 and 65863. It denotes that particular number and no other. In no way could it be said to represent 65800 for instance as there is a discrepancy of 63. Having said this I would have to conclude that the number 65862 very much stands alone for and of itself and can be no other number other than that which it is and stands for.

What it's doing on cars though, I haven't the foggiest

You seriouly need to step away from a keybd and go outside for a while if you cant recognise a licence plate on a vehile..
