I would like to see what people think is most fun, and I don't mind if you mention
several, as long as we exclude ROI. It's quite obvious that a good ROI always make
gamefeatures more fun, imo.
This isn't about the eco part, it's purely about fun. Even thou' some think the
struggling to find out ways to earn money is the fun part. ;)
So, again, what feature is or could be most fun, from a game-mechanism p.o.v?
(E.g hunting Robots in team, crafting buildings, exploring new areas and get
a global message when you are the first to enter area, and so on and so on...)

Its hard to beat skydiving/base jumping.

Melee and Mindforce (though both need some updates to their core functionality and level of available user engagement).

More human vs. human interaction via PvP

AI in general sucks, and has sucked since the days of Wolfenstein. I do not expect MA to improve the AI, because it will be disappointing. So the best AI I have run across is really HI or Human Intelligence (one of the big reasons I only play MMO games vs. my fellow humanoids). This even includes the intensity and emotions that come along with it; something that 10,000 lines of code cannot replicate. Playing through the Halo 1 campaign was cool, nice graphics, but its TOTALLY calculated. Human factor, not possible to know what is around every corner and who is deciding to change up their strategy in a split second to gain that minute advantage.

Some how, Some way, I would like to see more PvP integrated and more incentives for young players to get involved. Lots of people are scared of the PvP zones, even the non-lootable ones. When knowingly PvPing, I am fully immersed, and in-turn, having the most fun possible. Using auto-aim and mindlessly pumping PED into unintelligent mobs while watching porno is not really super fun, maybe just the porno part.

Mindforce is what I think is the most fun ingame, although you may already have noticed that :silly2:

I would love to see more buff-and-support type MF that allowed further teaming with this :)

EDIT: For example, since we do not have amps or enhancers for MindForce some kind of "Team charge" power that allowed you to buff a teammate so he does more MindForce damage for x hits could be nice

A Booster for the Valks would be awesome :wtg:

Allow M to wear F clothes, let people express they real nature ;p Drag Queen contests and parade ;p

Real Rocket Jump, even with V1 V2 or adj.

Shoot your friend in the ass and make him tp 50m in the same direction.

Mix resources out of conventional uses and produce unexpected effects, like being all blue for two weeks or transformed in merp for a couple hours, or anything you can imagine.

Make PVP attackers 90% sensible to decoys.

The 20000th trox stalker killed is automatically tamed, you can mount it, ride & hunt with it, it has to be fed according to the dmg dealt. Could use 2-3 kinds of armor, partial or complete.

Bring back rings in towns.

Make craft machines break and fall apart when a certain amount in Hof is reached, respawn after a few minutes.

Make miners unleash hell, when digging once in a while they break underground tunnels populated by devilish creatures who invade surface and require plenty of hunters to send them back to hell.

Make auctioneer undress when u point a gun at him/her.

Big Screens in towns showing pre VU 10 videos.

maybe more later

bankroll (unlimited) :yay:

TAMING. Nothing more fun than playing tag with a stroppy Daiki, thrashing the bugger to within an inch of its life (and being thrashed yourself), and eventually seeing that way cool "roll over" end move as it becomes your pet.

More function and diversity when this profession returns would make up for many past "inconveniences". For one, they MUST be mountable, even if that is a "next level" process after taming, and they MUST be able to carry load. Those functions comprise the primary reasons for taming in the first place (given that we do not need to eat).

They must be attack-trainable if possible, but that would be bonus. They should be defensible, with items and heal specific to them.

These "trained pet" items could be used to underpin a "new economy" - they are all unlimited, but require player crafted replacement components at the repair terminal instead of merely PED, to force a market demand for otherwise useless TT-fodder.

Actually, I'd like for that to be applied to all repair - you have to buy the "spare parts" on the open market, or craft them yourself. That would make many things more fun, in my opinion, provided they don't pull the usual trick of "99% junk and 1% uniquelyoverpricedrareandornonexistium".

.... and Mindforce is also very cool, but needs more to amp up the fun.

well, the case is that the business plan of MA clearly states "want to have more fun you have to pay more" there is no way to avoid it. hence your question can only concern those with UL ped cards. sorry to tell you that but that's the way the cookie crumbles :smoke:

Its hard to beat skydiving/base jumping.

But medical costs were soaring with all those broken ribs from the sky-diving position. Now they fixed that and we fall in the standing position. Just a broken backbone instead....

Full naked avatars. Umm or errm, we need more avatar skeleton animation and not hair animation, then we can think more deeply. Dungeons that you need to solve puzzles to progress.. But i can only dream. More longblades...

I enjoy human to human interaction is social settings.
But emotes are really limited and they're still a far cry away from interaction possible in SL or The Sims. :(

Well, actually, same goes for every system in-game. Most of them haven't changed much since Gold.

Randomly select group of players to (briefly) run a group of high-level mobs - could spring some nasty surprises on hunters when the AI suddenly displays "I".

Especially if the mobs were robots - you could plan raids against towns - send in Jamraiders to get you past the turrets and lay waste :wtg:

Dyneras on full condition ( runs over 30 K peds ) ...man...there's no better rush ;P

Decent loot would be fun.

customizable vehicle.
like,
slower but more eco gasolin wise,
faster but eat gasoline more,
can upgrade for rising slope.
etc etc...

oh and the ability to sit on chairs of cities.
I see there are many chairs but I was disappointed when I discovered they dont have interact feature.

Getting the "Instance" system functioning in a realistic manor suited to all styles of play from solo explorations to the massive ped sucking craziness they have deployed so far. Make it available for PP's to work with FULL functionality so the REAL creative programmers can do something spectacular with it and not just another monster ped drain.

Redo avatar annimations that the system is capable to do now and make the look more interesting at bare minimum. Hell we all paid for a monster system to have all this stuff and it has yet to be used. Bring back variety to what we do. This mindnumbing clicking away for long periods with no reward is beyond tired at this point.

Those two features would maybe bring back my want to play more then I do now. I can dig out the old pong/super break out from the basement and get the same level of excitement EU holds now days.

100% on the money, well said.

And to make it truly fun, compensate the tamers the same way the tailors were compensated when they got screwed, and the hangar owners when their system was out.

I love taking my Valkyrie, going to Athena or somewhere with huge cliffs, and jumping off them at full speed :D

...but when I land and my vehicle glitches out and doesn't have good physics, I want them to have awesome physics, like Flatout physics or something like that. When I land, I don't want my car to start humping the ground upside-down, I want it to explode into thousands of pieces of shrapnel :D

That's pretty interesting too. Perhaps there is a way to define, as with PVP, a specific area that is VVE (Vehicle vs Environment), where the physics are ramped up to allow for more immersive vehicle use. Some track, some crazy terrain, and perhaps even floating spectator galleries.

Here's one for the petrolheads :)

Good thread.

I enjoy my buggy. Jumping hills.
Hunting.

I wish to enjoy slow easy fishing if ever introduced.

Sunsets in PA with Entropia raido.
Ms Entropia pagents

id say pvp and teamhunting

more development around cost reduced pvp areas

teamhunting with high dps... MM for example
