What is Rextelum Chitin Fragment used for?

As title says, what is it used for? Part of a mission, TT food or crafting? Someone knows?

Aahaa. I'm so sorry then. Fact was i DID try to find the right forum for this for about 15-20 mins... Did not even find a resources forum. Well... learning something new every day. He he. Question still remains though.

Has no MU button (same for venom sample), can't be placed into refiner. So for now it looks like TT food, but maybe one day this stuf will be needed. So keeping some in storage can be a good idea...

My guess is that it's to bring the boss mob ("Hussk"?), I've read a thread somewhere about it with the recepie.

If I remember right you also needed a (new) mermoth part.

My guess is that it's to bring the boss mob ("Hussk"?), I've read a thread somewhere about it with the recepie.

If I remember right you also needed a (new) mermoth part.

There is an Item in auction atm, where description says you can spawn Hussk with (search for "daikiba").

Personally, I'd hope materials enough for a second one will be dropped. It would be too bad if someone bought that sample that obviously was acquired as a display-item. Nice of him to pay the auction fee put it on display for a week!

When more people are getting along with the missions maybe we'll get a description of how that sample was made.

Most probably some lame stuff used to unlock access to the Hussk that nobody really wants.
