This is law in several European countries, think in Sweden, too. I am surprised about this strange behaviour of MindArk.

And there are many judgements in Europe about changing EULAs against private customers. The company needs to highlight the changes.

I will cut and paste your post on the BAHQ forum. Unfortunately some spent more time in prison than university and need this translating.

We also need a EULA or SLA - service level agreement from MA...

• We expect the auction manipulating avatars to be banned and funds frozen

• We expect the script kiddies to be banned

• We expect the group who are scamming on trust to have all avatars locked (they do know who they are becasue we proved it to them) <<--- the group operates from one bosnian net cafe

• We expect no one to receive an ATH since they deposited $10k recently

• We expect not to see certain ppl buyin DNA parts becaue they were told a major land sale was coming soon

• We expect MA to communicate with the community

• We expect MA to design thier own webpages and not steal the star wars nabu ship

• We expect MA to deal with the spammers in PA and Twin

• We expect MA to listen to the community about ATHs killing the enjoyment

• We expect MA to fix things before expanding them

• We expect MA to state how many players are actively online and stop the silliness with saying 400k accounts (sell sweat 1.1)

• We expect MA to admit when they screwed up which earns more respect than fundemental game changes

Uh pretty much all of that was already in the Conditions of Use, I take it you haven't read it previously?

All I believe was changed is Project Entropia -> Entropia Universe.

I just ran a diff (using WinMerge) on the old and new documents and the changes were:
- All instances of Project Entropia are now Entropia Universe.
- Some linespacing changes, mainly in section 15 (more spaced out now).
- A couple of errant end-of-line spaces were removed, and some new ones addition (must be a MindArk tradition!).
- The date.

The actual content is otherwise identical.
Still it would have been nice to be notified that it was going to change.

hehe yer i have way to much time on my hands but at the same time i dont since im now waaay behind on this project im working on

i did read the old EULA about twice but i guess alot of it just didnt jump out at me as much as it did today. i think thats because i've been more actively reading the forum and seeing various support cases and PE related stories. i had about 1 and 1/2 months that i couldnt enter The Virtual Universe so my only point of contact with it all was this forum. At any rate i just thought it would be fun to point some of the finer details out to everyone else who doesnt have as much procrastinating time on their hands as i do

I didnt get the email either although I got the initial reply to a support case I sent earlier today, you know the "We have received your inquiry - Project Entropia Support" titled one so its not like I'm not receiving any mail from MA.

I did get a response to a support case though i filled a few weeks ago concerning lagg, bugged mobs, radar, inventory, and weapons...

It is the same standard answer i have received euhhh 15 times now. I guess comprehensive reading is considered a plus for your support crew, not a must?

guess I am still a wee bit angry..

Little suggestion: fix the laggg before adding new useless content and modifying the EULA in such a way MA only takes responsibility for cashing our money.

Well, mine is located elsewhere (D:\Games\Project Entropia\PE Conditions of Use.txt)

I had wav no:470009 play each time I entered/exited Windows so I am acustomed to it somehow

About an e-mail MA suposingly sent "to everyone" on the 11th I must say I got none ... I saw most of the other ppl posting here got the same

I didn't get an e-mail about changes to EULA either.

However every time you launch PE/EU you must agree to the EULA. Technicly you should read it before you click the ok button when launching the game.

I don't read it every time but I know I should.
