Scammer Alert

We all want MindArk to add a loan system in Project Entropia.
Anyone disagree?

my only point about all this is that ma dont even bother looking into it to see if they should lock this person or not.
the fact that im a total dumbass who lent 500usd ot someone i never is besides the point, i know im stupid already lol :p
but why dont ma lock scammers? cant be bothered? or they like having them around? like i said i heard of ppl getting either the peds the scammer got for the item or the actual item as well as locking the scammer. i also of course heard of scammers just getting locked period. do they have a new policy on scamming that im not aware of or???

Well , she also borowed the jungle + dante before and regave it back also.
I guess she just gained trust of people first , then scammed lots of people at once ..
very sad to see that we have some kind of person like that in the game and that MA even support them by doing ... nothing
Great spirit Ma as always .

This Is a Very STUPID Scammer LOL

I just thought I'd post this for two reasons:

1. To get this scammers name out there for people to be wiery of them and maybe call them names hehehehe

and

2. Because this scammer seems to have a very low IQ and so I want to name and shame them for beng a scammer and totally thick.

The reason I say he/she is dumb is because they asked me if i wanted an armor upgrade even though I DON'T HAVE ANY ARMOR! I've sent this pic to MA aswell.

Whats the deal? Do the scammers WORK for MA, and thats why they wont do anything?

Hmmm, That seems to be the same rl person as the one that tried to scam me couple of days ago. But the person that tried me was named Latifa Alma Sharpey, but i recon the words this person was using, they are a match to what she said to me, so i guess its the same person with lots of avatars doing the same scam but with different avatars though. Spells improve with 2 o.

"GSI for free? No way man" or also "Take a shover nOOb"

A funny thing happened to me today, ill post the report i wrote to MA, youll understad :)

Today at about 15:30 MA time i have experienced something weird. An avatar called "garlas garlas ugly" tried to sell me skills, but he complained that he didnt have a GSI. So i told him i will give him a GSI if he gives me its market value, otherwise i could not believe him about me not being scammed. After that he closed the chat window and started talking very harshly, he abused the name of my family, requested me to take a shower and called me a "fucking nOOb". Sorry for that word. Someone else used a scaner on him and told me he probably had no skills to sell. This happened in Atlas Haven and with numerous victims. As i have no proof of him being a scammer, even though he had acted weird after noticing i wanted proof, i am only reporting an avatar that uses rude and harsh speech. I would not be surprised if there was nothing you could do.

If it is to any help, he is a CEO of a society called something like: "asfhgsdhgsjsdjfjdhkdfhjdg...". He is the only society member.

I had trouble with this person, but mostly when he is around twin Kill Stealing my Argos -_-

When will the GSI or armour scams stop? It's so old its unbelievable. All new players should have to read a document on the login screen that states all the latest scams, then these problems would be drastically reduced.

Maybe an IQ test as well? lol only joking :)

its people like that you wish wernt hiding in front of a keyboard :D

Better yet send it with thier login and accepted e-mail from MA

The first is clearly out of order and he's trying to perpetrate a scam. Buying skills from auction is safest. If buying them direct always do as the original poster did and ask for market price on the GSI avoiding any possible scam.

Kill stealing is not going to make the guy any friends. I'm not sure it can be classed as a scam though. To avoid it take a weapon with decent dmg/sec as a backup. If you started killing first you have a head start so use your backup weapon to get your damage to over the 50% mark whereupon the mob is yours. Then the kill stealer's damage will be a gift to you :)

Problem is...
If an IQ test was required, i guess that would mean we only got SMART scammers to worry about. Dumb scammers are so much more fun, cause we can abuse them, taunt them, report them and get them banned when were done :p

Oh, wait, lets skip the abuse part, that kinda put ourselves in the spotlight :p

true, but at least their "prey" would be removed. A higher minimum age may also help - but I know that is a point of great contention in PE.

The same avatar "garlas garlas ugly" did the same thing to me yesterday evening:
first try to sell skill then propose me to upgrade my armor!!
I asked him how does it work. He answer me:"i go to armor machine and, with my skill, i can upgrade your armor and make it better"... so i laugh to him, end the chat and say in the all chat that he try to scamm me!!!
Then he insult me!

I think this person should be ban... i play PE for more than 1 year and i read forum every day so i know some few scamm attempt and could prevent them by myself. But a lot of newcomers don't know that's impossible to upgrade armor (except with plates ) so they can easily be scammed!!!

Best and easiest would be that MindArk sends after registering a letter to the address entered with a code which you have to enter after receiving otherwise the account would be locked.
Would be a cheap and easy solution to this scammer thing and a lot of other problems..

Im 14. Think i should get banned for it? ;)

No tests needed, lets leave it Darwins way.

Alot of ppl get scammed this days, i knew one scammer from Lithuanian she/he was, and was use female avatar, she/he told me like every thing, but didn't tell me name who did she/he scammed, only few things she/he did show me stuff what did get, it was full nem (f), ML35, M2875, and few axe's, but to bad it was like year ago... only if i knew her/him now, so i could report her/him

sorry guys but age does not equate to dishonesty. We have no evidence to confirm that scammers are younger than the rest. Stupid is as stupid does, as Forrest Gump said, that does not have an age range.

On the subject of kill steals, I was hunting corns and a guy came up and started axing my prey. He would let me take the mob on and shoot it until it reached me and then hack it. The trouble is that by the time the mob reached me it was mostly dead, so he got nothing. I did point this out to the n00b, but he kept hacking away and refusing to talk to me. After he had finished off about 15 mobs I'd had enough and moved on. Mind you it saved my armour and ammo!

Hi mate,
I'm not trying to spoil anyones fun. I realise there are kids that are probably mature enough to play computer games like PE. However despite this there are those that are not.

Looks at other games such as GTA - its an 18
Look how old you have to be gamble (not that PE is a casino of course  ), it varies - but I'd say 18 would again be a good average.

I played rated games when I was a kid but that was because I was smart enough to distinguish between game and reality. It the same as going to the cinema, some things are 15 or 18 and so on.

So like everything in life you have to cater for the stupid and immature, that is just how it works. You may be mature enough to play PE but unfortunately there are those that are not, on the whole a higher age limit may prevent these people becoming scammer prey and hence discouraging scamming in the game.

To be honest it is scamming that is the real problem, not kids. However by enabling vulnerable people into the game, gives the scammers a target.

At the age of 14 you are probably much more trusting than older players (as a generalistaion) you probably haven't been really fucked over by anyone you trusted in life yet so you will make friends in PE and trust them prematurly. To get by in life and in PE, you need to be cynical to a certain extend due to the sheer number of scammers.

Please don't take these comments personally, of course I nothing about you or your life, it is merely a snapshot of how everyone I knew and I were when we were 14.

Regards,

Mind Ark Oficial Monitor (lol)

[br]Click to enlarge[/br]

PM me and asking if it's ok with me to answer him a few questions etc. and since I'm such a nice guy with such nice clothes (watch my selling ambu post) MindArk will give me a gift (really? :D ) and improves armor etc etc etc.

Report send to MA.

I was pretty much shocked when he PM'd me because I only read MindArk Oficial Monitor and didn't see the wrong spelling at the very first moment :)

Sad sad all this....

Scammer: "norcia blueSKY exodom"

Just a note to say this orange person just tried to scam me, full name:

norcia blueSKY exodom

The ruse was she would supply me with full shadow armor in return for my full vigilante, but she needed my full vigi first... :)

Thanks,
Forrest Park
