I loved taming.
But the sad thing is that MA has not yet reintroduced taming.
In my opinion it has been long enough!
So, I wanted to start a petition for all those people, that like me, would like for taming to come back!

So if you like to have taming back, please "sign" your name to this thread. So we can tell MA to:

PLEASE BRING TAMING BACK!!!!

Lets try to have a good showing so we can let MA know how much we are missing it.

That is all.
 
taming will come back sometime this year, just like all the other systems

Petition wont make it happen faster.

And it is definitely coming back. Not like it was scrapped.

Perhaps you are correct. But I think that friendly a reminder might just make MA realize that they should work on bringing the old things back before they continue making new stuff.
 
I really would like to see it brought back. Here's hoping its soon.
 
Don't forget to send the petition to MA as a support case! I suspect they are adding new features which takes ages! Also ask Hanne is she can shed some light :)
 
Calm down they'll release it when its ready. This won't speed anything up.
 
When it comes to Taming, Mentoring, Makeup, and Beacons, MindArk has promised all of these will be back before the end of the year. Once FPC gets progress reports we will share them with you.

See now there is the bit that makes me chuckle... constantly :laugh:
 
Let us assume it comes towards the winter, and if comes early, and in fact comes back as a REAL full fledged profession with levels, tools, options etc let it it be a nice surprise.

We have to wait, they will bring it back in the end... but I must say I miss my pets...

My snable must be feeling so lonely frozen in the storage :acid:

each mob should be tame abel, also big robots :D
 
I hope they bring back taming in pretty much its original form and not mess about with it too much and thereby making it much more expensive. All that needs to be done is to increase the range of mobs which are tameable and allow us to ride them once tamed.
 
The need to increase the range of mobs dramatically, increase levels of mobs to 10 max at each level more abilities unlocking (inculding carrying, riding, attacking, etc). Also need to increas the max pets controlled at same time to allow further unlocks, currently maxes out at 5 pets, but 10 at least should be allowable.
 
i dont mind waiting, i assume there is a lot of work to be done with taming as pets will have uses when they come back! *confirmed by Emma the guide, some time ago* :yay:

I think you're gonna be dissapointed mate. Marco has said many times the hold up on taming is a total rework of the Taming/ pet system....i'm gonna guess they ain't gonna make it cheaper...just a hunch...;)
 
If the system is totally reworked and has many cool options, screw the cost, this is a game after all:)

I vote yes because i want know how will change pet taming and because i have 4 pets waiting.

So i have too more 8k sweetstuff and a lot of fruit waiting too, and nutribars down price a lot because now is not useful.

Alright i believe everything here is in order now.

Others have been without their professions too. So have some patience and wait your turn, threads like this won't make it happen any sooner. IMO there are other things such as Mindforce which are much more important to have implemented before this.

Also an option in the poll to vote against the petition would be nice

I'd like it back, and it's one of the things I'm really looking forward to. :whip:

However, I'd much rather wait than have an incomplete system rushed out just to appease the angry peasants. :)

Yes and others have moaned and complained about their professions and shops etc etc etc so piss off :) us tamers will moan and have petitions if we want. I agree with Mandy id rather a decent taming profession rather than a rush job, but Pets certainly haven't changed in many many many years.

You are on my PET KILL ADDZ ON SIGHT list once they can finally eat players :)) So your probably safe for the next 5 years.

So much confusion...so much incoherence... *head explodes*

I'm not going to sign the petition because it's pointless. I sold my would-be pet shop and am going to stop making plans based on systems that don't exist and just do what can be done in EU. Seems the only sane way to approach this virtual glacier. When taming returns i'll be glad to continue skilling up from the mid-30s on the professions, but until then i'm working on my combat skills.
