Hi all,

are you a miner, do you like to have interesting and unexpected experiences or just to improve your mining? Care to share some information with the community?

Entropia Directory needs miners of all levels for a series of mining-related projects on wich we will focus on mapping in a proper and logically substantiated method the whole universe in terms of mining, also find new and simple ways to improve your methods and offer test results for life's most important questions such as.... Is carpet bombing the way? or even more important: Where to mine!?

If you are interested in joining our future projects and have a little spare time, a friend to join you and have an interesting mining experience, drop a note, send a PM, bookmark the topic!

Enrollment is restricted to the homepage forum. It is up and running and we got a good head start. Join us now. You may still ask questions about the project here but I am unable to continue working using EF for several reasons.

We need newbie miners and skilled miners, skills don't matter, your tools, your loot. You choose if you wish not to disclose some of the information on rare finds.

Also looking for sponsorship and donations. Sponsors will also have the option to "invest" in a miner's run.

Ok, now to clarify this.

It is not an invitation to join our society. We DO NOT WANT you to leave your society.

We just want a group of miners that will carry out a script for a prospecting job, skills matter a bit less as the final project will be aimed at newbies.

Hi.
I'm a noob miner, but had alredy 2 hof's. I am very interested in this project, as I mined purley random so far. I don't have great skills, but the L items I use are maxed out. (MF 211 (L))
Please tell us more about what you have in mind.
 
Just a point of clarification, Do I need to have a partner? There is a comment earlier in the posts about having a friend to work with.

I dont have anyone that could team up with me, but I am willing to take part with my Noobie skills.

Anything to try and clear the fog from mining in EU. The more I learn the denser the fog becomes. :)

Surveying: 83

My equiptment is:
OF-101
MF-101
TT Drill
TT Extractor

Some taks will require a partner, and it is usually better to have a buddy to kill off all the annoying mobs in your way. If noone can help you, me or some of the other miners will be your partner. It is not compulsory for now.

Thos are about as mine... Skills matter a bit less as the project outcome will be oriented towards newbie miners.

Please do, your chance to get a few skills in a very interesting proffesion.


I will add you all to my application list, and you can decide later to participate or not.

You will be provided with further information regarding the project, as well as general rules and instructions for each one of you.

At first you will have to start with your own gear and tools, and if the project proves of any use, it might be split into 2 separate projects, both with paid jobs.

k im in i dont quite understand but i heard mining so must be good ;p
 
I'd like to apply for this. I'm pretty newb miner myself, have around 200 surveying and I think 300-450 in prospecting (will update exact stats & gear when I get ingame a bit later).
 
If the project profile is methodical and quantitative in nature, I am interested.

Still optimizing the method and patterns, but we will work it out to be most efficient in our quest...

Gotta run to work now, but expect some messages the next days.
 
UPDATE: I have plenty of applications, I still need anyone interested, I will see what I can do for a simple test job for each one of you.
 
I'd like to participate in this. I have a partner that will participate too, or at least act as my bodyguard. :D I'm pretty noob, or at least that's the way it feels.
 
Got about 400 surveying with a ematterfinder-103...might have to give a go

You are both in! I am preparing the test runs as we speak and I can't decide if we should continue on EF, or move to a private are such as my new shiny forum. :girl:

As I stated in the private messages, as soon as you can line up sponsors for the runs I'm in, btw my stats are:

Geo/Survey/Prosp: 480-530ish
Mining/Drilling: 600-650ish
OF-103
MF-101
 
I'll help out a bit, my mining skills aren't great but I've maxed out the TT ore and enmatter as well as the OF-101 and the MF-101.
 
I'm a completly new (but keen) enmatter miner - can I join in?

oh Good!! I didn't miss enrollment. I would like to enroll.. I am relatively new, but I enjoy mining and have gone out with about 100 bombs about a dozen times now... Would love to do something other than random bombing, so this sounds like it would be right up my alley.
