The Massive Multiplayer Online World Championship starts Friday December 1st (21:00 MA time)

There are two Highest single loot Qualifier Events on friday, tickets are 1 ped in the fertilizer room or Free if you can get one in the control room.

The Prizes for the Qualifiers include full Rascal, Full Vigilante, Svempa 60L, Ammo, Faps and tickets to round 1. The purpose of the Qualifiers is to give noobs a shot.

Round 1 and Round 2 is on Saturday. ticket Price for round 1 is 10ped Prize is a ticket to round 2. Round 2 ticket price is 100 ped, prize is ticket to round 3

Rounds 3,4, Quarter finals and semi finals are all going to take place on Sunday...

The Winners of the Semi Finals will be flown to Miami for the Final, Which will be filmed. THe Final is set for Friday December 15th

MMOWC will pay for flight and accomodation for the finalists only.

To Be eligible you must register at MMOWC.com. The purpose of this is so we can start to assemble all the Sport oriented players together...

Prize for the Winner is 15,000 PED. 2nd Will recieve 10,000Ped.

All Events after the Qualifiers are MOST LOOT. All Events except for the final are 1hr in duration.

top #4 Champions League places automatically qualify for the Quarter finals.

There are no additional rules except that if you are not wiling to fly to Miami for the Final, you will be disqualified.

If you go to the control room and look in the event terminals you will see it looks very complicated. that is because of the way the event system works.

But in essence what you should look for is a ticket to a qualifier or round 1, if u win you will automatically recieve your ticket to the next event, all you have to do is read the ticket, then look through the terminals to find the next event.

If u lose your Event. then you can buy into the next round... But the Ticket Prices rises dramatically...

This is the First MMOWC Event, its very important for the concept to be tested in order to bring in sponsorhip...

Although ticket prices for the Final rounds are expensive. We dont expect anyone to buy into these rounds. We are not expecting to generate a profit or even cover the costs through ticket sales this year. The goal of the organizers is simply to Host a fun event and try to Package it for broadcasting so next year so we can bring in corporate sponsorship.

Please Join this event only if you appreceate the Spirit of it. As the Event system Evolves we certainly plan to improve the event and the rules to accomodate the most people...

NOTE:

in the event that someone Wins two events in the same round, the 2nd place in the second event will also Qualify for the next round.
This is to prevent anyone from blocking others from Qualifying for later rounds
However it is okay to compete in multiple events in the same round, if thats your starategy to give u more chances in next round

EG

(A1) is at 14:00 MA time in Domes 1-5
(B3) is at 15:30 MA time in Dome 11-15
(D2) is at 18:30 in DOmes 6-10

Its not neccesary to buy a ticket at all... if u win your way through all the rounds starting with the Qualifiers...

Anyone familiar with the champions league events knows that in a 1hr Event
the field is pretty level... Ubers tend to start pulling ahead after the 1hr mark.

Sounds interesting, but, maybe i missed something. As i'm not very familiar with the Event system or CND (only went twice), could someone post the times and dome #'s for the events. Sorry about my noobiness, lol.

i still dont get it to actually win u have to turn up in person at miami ? if so then
i think prizes needs to be alot higher a ticket costs alot of money or is it only for americans ?

This means, if you work your way up, you can get your flight paid for you.

You can't buy into the quarter finals and beyond

We have been having an amazing time with the CHampions League, it is very competetive and sees between 20-30 entries each week. Which is More than enough people for a great Soccer Match. Next Season, the Ante Will be Upped for sure...

The MMOWC, is a very simple Once a year Event and is gonna Zoom by very Quickly. For those Who compete and work their way to the Quarter Finals and Semi's, Im sure it will be very satisfying. The Quarter Finals through the Finals will be hair raising.

We could see a Favorite win the Grand Final or a favorite could be knocked out by a HoF in the Quarter Finals by a Low-mid level player, it happens all the time in the League.

Strategy will factor in, because there are always 5 domes to choose from, so for example If your Bold you can focus on a big global with Neconu in 12 or Longu in 11, or if You aint got the firepower but got big Dreams aim for an Allophyl Hof in 15. If you're a chicken you can bang the drumsticks with the Bercycled in 13..

Remember to be eligible you must register at MMOWC.com. Once again this is the site that corporate sponsors are directed to and We have to show that there is a player base. Also the Finals Will be filmed so we can edit a Highlights reel to Pitch to TV. We are looking to nurture proffesional Cyber Atheletes and Celebrate the competitive spirit.

I know you had some trouble with the event system up there, which I suppose explains the short notice. But with 6 days notice, it looks like I can't make it after all...
(Hosting a party for 102 ppl on Saturday - don't think I can pull out of that one... )

A press release went out a couple of weeks ago. We actualy have a last minute banner campaign startin tomorrow in Europe provided by our primary sponsor Adynamix . We also are readying Voice servers for the all the Domes, provided by Vivox, one of our sponsors.

As usual with events of this nature the world will catch on later.

I have to say - for those of you who havent experienced the champions league these events can be and have been absolutely awesome.

The great thing about it is that anyone can win. Its a bit of luck and a lot of strategy as literally every second counts, so if your dieing every two seconds, change mobs so you can kill consistently.

Really a blast to be in them and i cant wait for MMOWC. And if only half the people that joined the Champions League join in on the MMOWC then this is gonna be a hoot.

As some of you know at the Champions League #11 there was a small guy, a regular noob with 1,6k in Rifle at the time who suddenly crashed all of his opponents with a 2k HoF.......yes, yes it was me Johnny JB Bravo from -=IMMORTAL ARMY=- This should prove to all of you people that anyone has a chance to be the Ultimate World Champion.

I encourage all of you Ubers, Mid-Levels or Noobs to take part in this great Event.

It would be awesome to get gamers from other on-line games to come and participate. I *think* my son and some of his <other game> clan might show up. Fingers crossed that they do and hopefully they will be noobs welcomed with open arms by our community.

Invite your friends from other on-line games to participate. All the info is on the MMOWC.com site for how they can join. Make sure they use the VIP entrance on the realityport.com site. Getting new players will help spread the word about EU and CND. Promotion helps all of us.

Yes, anyone can win with a HOF, it really did happen to a new person a couple of weeks ago in the Champion League. It's real money and a real trip up for grabs. Hmm, maybe I'll get lucky! *looks around for bikini and suntan oil*

Note- If my son and friends show up I'll be helping them a day or so in advance and am offering to help others if needed. By help, I mean - finding their way around CND, getting registered in the event terminal, making sure they are registered on the web site, setting up their weapons on quick bars, the tt.. that kind of basic stuff. PM me here if you can't meet your friends on CND and I'll do my best to be there to help or make sure someone is.

Yes, anyone can win (See above). Certainly the ubers have an overall advantage since they are able to obtain more kills on larger critters over time and thus the possibility for more accumulated loot. All it takes though is one lucky HOF like Johnny got.. so it can happen.

i really wish i could join this event, but i will be busy this weekend, and even IF rolleyes i got qualified for the final i wouldnt be able to leave on so short notice.

Listen Mate I am still running arround with Marber Bravo (just to lure mobs from distance) and a MK.II with A104, and even though I have managed to be on 10th place in the CL Finals for about 30 minutes and finished arround 18th place. Anybody has a chance to qualify. Of course I can't even get near a Young Neconu (2 hits I'm dead) but I can kill more Allophyls or Snarks. It takes me approximately about 1 minute (more or less) to kill Ambu Mature and Ubers kill them in 15 seconds so the chances aren't even but they might get 5 PEDs in Loot and I can get 800 if I'm lucky. I would say that noobs have about 15-20% handicap in this event but definitely we have a chance and we can prove to everyone that Shadow Armor isn't needed to win
