I enjoy reading the musings of Diaries, and the other day I stumbled upon a newly created Diary posted by "Nutter" ... but to my surprise I found something quite unique ... a new kind of EU artistry that caught my eye in a big way.

These are the two offerings I found in the Diary, and I pulled the pics out of the gallery to share with all here, perhaps because the artist may be shy in doing so. I am anxious to see more, and based on the possible intent to entertain commissions for such artistry, I would like to say HELL ya ... and be the first to engage your unique style in capturing MS9 as the "Kick-Ass Warrior Huntress" that she is in all her purple glory. So let me know when you're up for it and I'll meet you ingame.

Awwww ... you underestimate us my dear! We can rock it on the same wave lengths, no problem. ;)

And yes, I am so hoping that "nutter" delivers more of this type of unique EU artistry. :wtg:

Beautiful art! :painter:

Here's the first (?) ingame forgery ;)

Well, I have to say ... since I'm not one of those sexy geek-types (sexy nonetheless), it appears that this type of photo-art is a cool process that can be done in PhotoShop. I have since discovered yet another artist who has created a similar photo canvas.

This is a rendering presented by "Tidesong" ... and I like this one as well!

flowerscreenshot1a.jpg

Not to mention the "forgery" posted by my global colleague and super friend Pepper! That's downright sexy my dear. ;)

SO ... looks like we have several cool PhotoShop artists among us, and I for one wouldn't mind seeing more of it. What makes each unique is that the artistry is presented from the eye of the artist, which makes the offering one-of-a-kind, no matter who has PhotoShop skills.

I still want my "Kick-Ass Warrior Huntress" purple ass splattered on a canvas ... in a sexy pose of course! :D

Thank you for your kind words MS9.

These images can indeed be produced quite easily using Photoshop and could be made by anyone using the appropriate software (Phoptoshop, Paint Shop Pro etc).

My main aim was to find a way of presenting screenshots in a way that not only retained the excitement of the moment of HoFfing, but also acknowledged that the 'fortunate' may have spent lots of peds achieving this. As such, the atmosphere of the image had to be right...
I felt that presenting the screenies in this manner (a simple colour balance adjustment and application of a filter...) has achieved this goal.

Upon seeing the finished results I wondered whether this may be a marketable commodity. One of these images is already reserved and I have a commision for a picture in the style of....well, you will have to wait and see ;)

I certainly do not consider them to be original works of art but I like them and I hope others do.

Thank you again for the encouragement.

LOL net :p

Ms9 up in neon lights for all to see :p

GR8 work everyone,

TBH I am a lil shocked with the artistry that some of our gr8 members are making. I'm shocked purely for the reason that i didn't initially consider myself an arty 'type' (if theres such a thing) but have found myself wanting to purchase and display quite a lot of the work currently being displayed by PE members :D

Gr8 work everyone

Ive got Paint Shop pro 9, think I should have a go at these things :D

Furthest I ever got was making an Image a different size lol.

WHOA, I got me some CHEEKS there, don't I! That is really cool Pepp, I like it a lot, and that kinda shows my "feisty" side, or maybe my "I mean business" side, but not yet the "bad" side ... even though I'm not sure what the bad side would be.

I thought about having a Mod change the thread title ... (geez, it was weird to write that) ... to something more appropriate since this thread has taken off in different directions, albiet artistic for sure, BUT ... I think the title is quite appropriate, because it looks as if we have "several" unique artists emerging from the shadows. :D

Thank you to everyone for the artistic renderings of MS9, I'm really enjoying them. I would actually also like to see more of the other type of contributions as well if anyone is inclined to do so. Perhaps this could be our "Freelance Artists" thread ... wonder how long this one would get.

Carry on! :D

Here you go MS9, I found this pic behind the wardrobe as I was clearing it out... not too much purple in it though.

ahh... back in the day.... :)

Very cool stuff here.

I see a big future for burgeoning artists and photoshop gurus who can now sell their work using the new PC signs and screens.

I know I would buy some of these!

:wtg:

Some pictures are very nice nice indeed. Problem is to make them catchy and unique. Today its very easy make "art" using the filters in a paintshop. Still I think its hard to beat the original. (In this case #1)

OMG ... this is THE most cool pic, and it brings up SWEET memories of the first FoF and our spider hunt. What an absolute BLAST that was, and I wish I could have participated in the others since. I have GOT to make the time to get involved, because this was SUCH fun, and our strategy worked so well.

Just as a reminder, here is the link to the pic storyline I did for those who never saw it.

NOW ... I am SO impressed with what has been presented here in this thread, I am hoping that this continues, because I just KNOW we have creative-types in this community who can do it up big time. This thread can be like the "Show Us Ya Face" thread only become a "Show Us Ya Art" thread. And like 711 said ... I would buy some of this stuff as well, it's amazing.

I LOVE this . . . Carry On! :wise:

PS to Solaris ... really nice showcase of variability on a theme!

This thread inspired me to do some stuff... this is my first image... very easy to do, but i always like the comic type images. I am going to do a series of interesting places around Eudoria.
