How did I miss this thread? It's great. You forgot about how when PE weng gold and the servers were down the rumors flew that cK was already ingame before everyone else and looting all kinds of good stuff. Needless to say lots of people were unhappy about that, including MA. (It wasn't true).

Whole story:

Everyone was going crazy on the official MA irc channel about the upcoming release of gold. Me and other SoF members (I think Crazios, Burnsey and ??? dont remember) thought it would be funny to act like we were ingame testing stuff out etc. This caused people to riot on irc and MA support got a massive amount of angry mails. This in turned pissed MA off majorly since they had to adress this issue and the VU got postponed even more, which pissed the players off. In other words: mayhem. After everything cooled down a bit Marco made a post on the official MA forums about the shitty thing we did and he also promised everyone a house but we would get a hut, on which I'm still waiting

Oh and guess who got the first global after gold was released

The rainbow fog

I just went looking for the rainbow fog and it still exists. The fog isn't that colorful but the terrain it is in is quite colorful. That stuff that looks like water is actually fog. It is about chest deep on most avatars.

You can see what looks like steam rising from the bottom left of the picture. There are several of those.

In the canyon there was a warrior, some molisks and a bunch of medium level atrox. If you kill one of them you have to sit down to loot it.

The way you can tell it is a fog and not water is that the molisks are completely submerged but they don't drown. If you go into the canyon there is an exit at the west end.

When I first joined EU I was told that there was some secret recipe using purple fruit and some other unknown ingredient. That if you 'ate' it it would give you a 1 time 2HP upgrade.

I was also told that the avs need to sit every so often and this helped you obtain skills faster or some stupid thing like that.

A person told a noob in our soc to go 'fishing'. That once he got in the water by the fishies a fishing rod would show up and he could catch them. We had a lot of fun with this one.

Rumor- that no matter how bad things get or seem to be in EU due to changes or... that Darkfire always looks on the good side and tries to give a positive spin to it!

Rumor- That if I let Darkfire marry my daughter he will be obligated to let me use his CE 13 ME blade. (Note- she's already married guys.. sigh, no getting to use the blade now... ;-)

Rumor?/Truth? - Darkfire will probably kick me from the Soc for writing this... any Soc's have an opening for me? lol

I was told by a relative whos in my Soc that the Now current Soc leader went to meet the Old socleader to buy a few items off him, But half way through trading a Spider OA attacked the old leader who then started to smack it with some sort of mace without any armour. and eventually 3 hit it to death!

I have no idea how if this is true but if it is then i want start bashing away with a mace

I think the Perception means something, and of course Marco's answer would be very specific not to give away too much Info. So If he said It doesn't affect loot, it could mean your skill level gives no Influence. But the tracking of such a skill still could be loot related somehow. Such as In mining. There's deffo a connection.

Hunting? Maybe It could be, as I read once; loot is changing. So could be for the better or worse. There's so many theories, and the game is so dynamic, Is hard to prove or even disprove these theories. But Isn't half the fun deciding yourself?

I heared about the hidden Islands, and yes this island still exists. Have seen it some month ago, shortly after starting with EU.
The rumor says if you mangae to TP on top of this island (its not climbable) you get somthing with an value of 50 PED like pressing the button on a roboship.

Whats about this, didn´t try it myselfs. When I was out there to check if this island exists I didn´t own any TP chip.
Did that all by swimming.

ohh and the curreent best one is that high perception increases ur chance to loot items

There was one in the very corner of the map, it was never activated or anything and it was there with a bunch of other crap in the north east corner. There used to be(maybe still are?) turrets out there for no apparent reason and inside it there was a tp and there were some really weird wreckage pieces that now show up in pvp4(walker broken)

That is surely only a myth didn´t work, tried that out myself.
Also it was said you can scann an Miner Bot for hours and it did not attack with the TT scanner, thats also myth that isn´t true.
Sorry for busting this myth I tried it and both did not work. The miner bots attack when you scan them and drones find you even if you try to hide behind a miner bot!

Also. This next one is a rumour that I actually presume to be true.
Look at a list of globals over time. I've documented this, and its true. Most globals go to people with the same first letters in their 2 first names.
ie. Fred Freestyle Savage (made up) and then you'll see another straight away from French Fact Trooper (another made up). Watch closely, you'll see I'm right about this.
