Question: Do the Bilton Towers Still Stand?

I haven't been able to log in yet so I don't know if my suite is still there. Can someone see if they are still there?
 
Yes, they are there. They look the same, because no new textures are there yet. No, they do not work, because no estate works and is available. Estates will come in a later VU.

Exactly where, please? I ran around the area near New Oxford and did not find nor the apartment buildings nor the teleport.
Also, you can see cities/buildings from MUCH MUCH further than ever before -- for example, from Limnadian you can see Zychion.

Appartments will come back in VU 10.1, as it says in the release-notes. I am sure when that happens, you will be able to find the precious towers again.

I was in Oxford today to check out the new Mall.

Only buildings I could see was the new mall, the Anshe bank, the teleport and the far-away dildo heads of Genesis Towers.

Didnt find any Bilton, no deer, no museum, no clothes shop, no caves...
 
Yeah the cave shops are now the Mall. The only good improvement really, and wtf's a mobile service center doing in New Oxford?!?!?!

They aren't there but there's a pretty obvious place near New Oxford where they ought to be, west of NO as before.

Since the only thing there were the apartments, I guess they simply didn't bother adding them until apartments are properly implemented. If that's the case then I guess you'd maybe lose the TP and have to run from New Oxford. On the plus side perhaps it means the towers will be getting a nice overhaul :)

Do someone know when the Bilton Towers back on Amathera ? I have an Art Gallery and a private Museum in the Tower 4, with all my beautiful items !!! Do someone can rassure me ? Thnaks

Your items are not in tower 4, but in resettlement boxes in the storage-terminal, one box for each 100 items you had in an estate, and one personal storage terminal for each estate.

No, looks like FPC didn't add them yet, but others town with houses on Amethera is there.

Please post exactly coordinates or don't post unconfirmed information.
I check all around there, i check whole map, but didn't found my house.

I am sorry for the confusion! What I meant to say is:
Billton towers is still somewhere, because it has appartments, and appartments are one of the features of EU. You can also see all the other appartments in various places. However, currently estates are not active, so that means that even though you may see appartments, sometimes even with plants etc in them, it is possible they will look entirely different in VU 10.1, they could be demolished, moved, or have other things happen to them. Untill VU 10.1 comes out, we will not know for sure how the emperial government will provide for the housing needs of the colonists of Calypso.

As Ma has stated in the past, the estate deeds, like other items, will not use any value, and since an estate deed is only meaningful (and valueable) with an estate to claim to go along with it, it will be certain that once the estates have been provided, you will surely be able to find them again, using the locator build into the estate deeds.
At the moment though, these locator-electronics have unfortunatly been scrambled or lost connection, so you may not always find what you are trying to locate. Rest assured though, that the appartments in this case, are not lost. After all, the government has gone to the trouble during these 5 years to retrieve and store all the items from these so called 'lost' appartments, and put them in resettlement boxes in your storage containers.

Yeah, that much more better and clear :)

We all knew that, but i and many others, who will try to find there houses now IMHO more concerned about future view from there windows, since now it's only one thing you could check :) And BT owners couldn't check even that :) In pre 10.x VU i had great view from window on forest and sea and it could be much more beautiful after VU 10.0. But now i even don't know where my house, lol

And since thread starter couldn't login now, i think he want to know exactly the same with his question, but your original answer could only confuse him, since, like you pointed, no one, exept FPC know, where BT would be located :)
 
I don't know about anyone else but I paid a little over 1400 ped for my condo because of the view and the size and I am going to be a little peed off if that is going to be changed!

I like view (it was best at the moment) and nearest distance to TP (near 30-50 meters, if i remind correctly).
 
I don't have the Bilton Towers TP or the New Oxford TP anymore. I wish I would have put my apartment in Restricted State before the update. I can't even sell it right now :(

Anyone know how I can get the New Oxford TP again? The new map basically sucks and I have no idea where anything is now.

It is pretty much still in the same place, even if much of it washed away. To get there, go to TI city, then south to the island, then travel southwest untill you got one area (TP doesn't unlock) and new oxford TP right in front of the pawnsho.. bank

He asked about New Oxford TP, so i point him to my thread.

Billton Towers (where i had appartment too) still not exist :( But still a bit more than one week to "appartment VU".
Whole island not looks good anymore. Before VU 10.0 it looks more like New Switzerland looks now :(
