News: Entropia Creators Club Initiative

LOL
man game is made of "niches". monster have levels
each EVADER you gain a new opportunity opens (25 level over monster threat max evading)
each looter you gain adds some better return toward 98.5
each eff you add add chance to 98.5%
combat skills over 10/10 weapon are useless
each HP let you tank a bigger creature that carries better loot opportunities
you limit research to 300 hp monsters... pretty "Puny"

did you test turrelion zeladoth and crystal pedes? did you see markup on turrelion essence? and value of turrelion blue crafter pijama? (just an example)
did you check small neomex and their mushrooms? or upgrading 2350 fap for resale?

going on, did you look at JBK 1m SHUB onslaught?
did you read EVE 2 year Caperon farming?
did you see messi SH30 six months carnage?
did you see that ron ronnie kovich kills same robots for ages?
maybe they are not so dumb or did not find another monster
..... those are not Barabarella ones tho........

you can profit SWUNTING Haters, Turp, Carabok, Paneleon
and prodit is 25 to 30%
you cna kill a 300 HP Hater witn almost ZERO incoming damage, with TT pistol
want math proof?
2.90 DPP, 300 HP = 103 pec 1.03 PED cost to kill
300 bottles current rate 1.5p/k = 0.45 PED
94% loot (shit it is 98.5 but i bottom line to 94 for you) = 1.03 * 0.94 (loot 2.0 rules,,, ped in ped out) = 0.97 ped loot
total cost = 1.03 total cash is (0.97+0.45) = 1.42 total return is 0.39 ped or 37.86% profit BOTTOM LINE

i kill vixen to see digital boobs.... some other monsters to reload ped card

words of wisdom, but you've giving away all the secrets lol

Here is A List of Videos Of Mine That Mindark has pushed out to the general public.
and

Please Let me know if the advice i am giving to new players is wrong. There are other content creators being promoted right now on youtube. But The Twitch Creators Need your Support To Add Numbers to their streams so Go Help Them out :D

creating content about EU, let's see.... i'm going to grind the same shit ass mob for 10 weeks or run around dropping probes into the ground for weeks and weeks then watch the crafting terminal craft all this shit into other shit for 5 more weeks and post this on youtube. ppl don't want to see EU content. its a grind, its all the same, rinse and repeat the same movement the same shots the same mobs nothing special happens u cant do some buttoncombo and kick ass some hidden superdmg finishing moves and stuff..... people dont want to watch EU because its just not interesting to watch........

well i think that the game needs to have quests

ENTROPIA is the ultimate neverlasting grindfest but...

i did the Horn of Zagol questline (stupid one, kill 4 kind of rats to loot 4 different rat tails, bring em to the rat master and get a reward, basic quest, but... i felt accomplished and i wear them even if my rings already max my reload.

i did the Bukin adjustment quest even if i knew that i would not use bukin thereafter

So, retain of players is in questing, and a questline must have "main quest" and "side quest" to bring player from level 1 to level xxx.
this is for who seek fun and something to do.

Creating a story to be implemented in game is best content creation.
game has a frameweeork done for it already
1. kill quests (count number of killed rats) it is active, daily can count kills
2. get rat tails off killed rats , it is implemented (special item randomly dropped)
3. location collision (cristalline core uses that via local item interaction) .. ratmaster ask you to visit the rat cave and find a rat poop on the ground
4. NI can count fruits, and dung collected and mining chain can count amount of ores picked.

we need fantasy on the lore description... we have a long robot saga, just a " the story of robot wars " can be a 100 step chain visiting all the zones including the crater and understand what happened there

we have great storytellers on the forums.. that can be better content creation than multimedia once implemented by the dev's lore team (if there is one :) )

I would suggest come creators to stop begging for views, and watch some tutorials on how to increase views organically, by being consistent in delivering the content, while maintaining high quality videos at the same time.

This affiliate program makes some people look desperate.

So instead of begging for affiliate link, work harder, over time results will come.

small edit: Everyone will help those who work hard, not those who beg hard

To Be Fair I prefer Natural Growth, But Advertising My channel in the ad board on caly seems a proper way to get the word out there. Begging? No way bro. I could be in other games right now getting higher views and making some money, But Mindark literally said i have to get my average views up for entropia content. There are not enough people who watch content in my opinion on entripia. But I Do happen to have a few hundred people that will watch my content for entropia and i think thats absolutly awesome. Im happy With that. Mindark is not.

The game is very small in terms of viewers. Over time on youtube you could probably generate enough views. Live on Twitch it's pretty slim as you get viewers who are around only at certain times of the day.

A popular Entropia stream might average around 40ish viewers who enjoy the person they're watching for that one reason.

Then i'd say there's a chance of another 60ish people who will tune in if there's a big give away and they become aware of it. They're not there for the content of the stream, but what they can gain from watching. Some might even be alts who sweat circle with more than one avatar and making a twitch account is easy.
I'm not sure what kind of numbers they expect out of Twitch streams, but recently they had issue with people having give aways and that would pull away from someone's numbers in general if they're committed to doing marbles races for prizes for example.

i agree and for a very simple, and psychological reason

as long as all players are obsessed with returns and not long-term goals, MA will have very little to offer the typical gaming demographic. and even for those of us that enjoy playing the digital coin-pusher that is Entropia, I would love for this grinding treadmill to have some real window-dressing applied to it. so that i have some goals to look forward to.

After reading this thread i made this video.
Enjoy. this is about you guys.

I have watched Twitch and viewer amounts and would have to say that only way would be a Mindark event or fake big bosom AI event that ends in Happy Ending..Just kidding..lol

I say Discord room is a bust and IG and else is not working, my advice is ads on YT or FB and swamp it.

:twocents:

The fact that we have a lot less or no afk marbles, afk ep1 or some other afk bs, with eu tag, is a big plus for the game. Many people check out a new game from Twitch streams and eu Twitch was in a pretty bad shape.
People stream for different reasons but as long as they stream active game play, it's good for the game.

Agree 100%. Nothing says this game is boring AF³ like watching a stream of it where the focus is on some mini game that exists completely outside of Entropia.

People stream for different reasons but as long as they stream active game play, it's good for the game.

Is it really?

Entropia is a 20-year-old platform that hasn't really evolved its gameplay all that much over that time. Combat is still plagued by a lack of animation art, mindless NPCs, and a complete lack of options in combat that simply doesn't make sense given how old it is. It doesn't even look like a serious attempt was made at making combat look like something out of a cheesy sci-fi B movie. Outside of Entropia, I don't think there's ever been a fist fight involving nothing but right-handed jabs or a sword fight where the combatants use the same swing/attack every single time they attack. There's just...nothing about Entropia that sets it apart from a "watching someone play it" perspective, spare the amount of material a comedian could pull and poke fun at Entropia with.

...and you'd need a LOT of charisma in your voice & appearance to stream mining sessions and not lose potential fresh meat 30 seconds into it because mining runs are boring AF. Digging up the finds? Boring AF³. Crafting? Boring AF³³³. Sweat circles? Boring AF³³³³³. But in that case, is it the game or the streamer that people are really watching when they tune in?

Entropia's only strength, one of the very few unique things about it, is its RCE. More people come here looking to "make money playing a game" then for every other reason you could think of COMBINED. I've never met a noob who came here because MMO combat here is the best there is or because vehicle physics are the best there is amongst MMOs or the graphics & artwork are mesmerizing above all others. No part of Entropia's current gameplay in action will attract very many people because of how ugly it is in motion. It is a truly a diamond in the rough still, having all the proper sandbox elements with several beautifully done worlds powered by an RCE, but it still needs a shit ton of cutting & polishing before it can even think of sparkling under the spotlight of Twitch streams and YouTube vids.

Is it really?
It is good for the game to have active gameplay streamed vs not having it. Having Afk crap is the worst.

As you pointed out, all players come for the RCE. But unlike us, old players, these days you have the opportunity to watch in real time. other people playing, maybe sometimes ask questions and learn new things from the activities others are doing. When I was a noob I was reading the forums (they were a few) but I was enjoying the most the videos but those were super rare. Now they are plenty so whoever is curious, has options. That is the good part for the game. The options to get informed from. But that will nto really change much player's actions. Even tho people heard about efficiency and looter, they still choose other paths and not necessarily because of the financial aspect. In this game, to do well long term, you have to make the right decisions for you and you can't force that on people.

You say the game is boring. That is subjective, Players find it fun doing things I would never do in the game. Other players find it extremely boring how I play. That is perfectly fine, as long as we have options.
But I do agree the game really need an update on graphics and many other systems. On graphics, they seem to be working on for a while, see the mobs models updates, new mobs, new Caly instances. With these new models we're getting a sneak peak into UE5 and I personally think they look very good. And I think having some of future UE5 bits of graphics also imported into current EU, with the purpose of making the transition much easier for plyers, is a very good idea.

On every change of any system you will have people that will just accept it, people that will love it nd people that will hate it. On everything. And that is normal. The game has to stay focused on offering options for all, constantly add new ones, and to incentivise players to play at high level. That's how they survive. And they need to survive.

Players tha enjoy the game and want to make it better, ,apart from sharing their experience on youtube, Twitch, forums and ingame, shuld make suggestions with arguments about aspects they think it could use some improvements. Soemone reads them and when MA thinks they have some value, bits of them might be implemented, in one way or another. Never forget MA is a small company and probably actual devs there are a handful and they have their own priorities.

I was thinking about all this and one thing the game is missing at the moment are the player driven events of past times, like WOF and Champions league.

Perhaps a revival of those or something like them would create something that is engaging to watch. I am sure you remember ND's champions league and his commentary ;) .

Even back then these events got views/interest, perhaps something for MA to consider trying. Changing animations/attack visuals etc are a long fix and will take time, an event as i mentioned would perhaps be a way to keep people interested stream to stream as the bigger picture evolves "organically" (I would have said Dynamically but i twitch these days at that word in meetings).

Another thing i thought about is to involve lower level players via a weekly spawned big mob next to a revive. Something everyone knows is coming and easy to access, and promoted weekly through streams showing mass of people shooting. As for a "reward" for taking part give some buff for 24 hours that people would go out of way to get (autoloot would be a good one for example that is actual time based and doesn't freeze time on log off).

In short create things that are engaging to viewers/players and not just 2-3 hours of single pew pew. Or accessible to newer guys/starters and not behind a wall of tasks to access. :)

Just a thought:)

Let me preface this by saying that I don't play EU much nowadays and this is the first time in a long, long time that I've even logged in to PCF, but when I saw the announcement about a possible Creators club I had to see if anything else had come up about it.

Reason is that I very regularly play another game on my mobile phone and after some years of posting content for that, decided to apply for their own 'Content Creators' program when it was announced and was fortunate enough to be the first (or at least one of the first) to be accepted into the program.

Of course, flinging less-than-happy flocks of birds in a mobile phone game is entirely different from EU, but I would imagine Mindark is looking at other programs and wondering how they can acknowledge creators for Entropia.

To apply for this particular program I'm part of (I'll call it AB!), you need to meet some criteria such as being over 18, to post content regularly, to have a certain number of follows/subscribers and to accept the rules of the program (of which there are few, to be honest - you just have to be mature and sensible enough to accept some things are confidential). There are no more than 10 of us I think, but the perks of being in this program is having access to a 'creators pack' of graphics, music/sounds and other material we can use to support our content, we are in comms with the Community Manager and other peeps (and therefore get some advance notice of upcoming events or features), and we sometimes receive 'premium' in-game things that other regular players would have to pay for to get (in-game currency, monthly premium bits, additional 'tickets' and what not to use in certain areas).

We are all first and foremost normal regular gamers and end users and there isn't anything as such permitting us to raise issues or be critical of the game (there are very many bugs and other issues we face and everyone who makes content, whether there are in the program or not posts about it anyway).

I wonder what Mindark has in mind for a Creator club. I have been EU making content since 2004 - 20 years! - and posting on my channel since 2006, but only for kicks and nothing serious. I would not consider applying for the Creators Club (if any such application process became available) since I don't play nor post EU content often enough - but that's only what I imagine they are looking for. I'd still love to be acknowledged of course for 20 years of content!

"Through a new close working collaboration with creators, in addition to a number of initiatives designed to drive video reach, channel growth, and general support for creators, we hope to shine more spotlight on Entropia Universe through the medium of online content."

Mindark and anyone in the Club would think about what people want to see, and what they are searching for. In AB that's easier - it's how to get good scores in certain areas of the game, how to beat certain challenges, and general tips and tricks. Mindark will want knowledgeable, regular players who can help new players and to showcase different elements of the game and new events or features etc. I would imagine seeing for example live streamers going live alongside Mindark's own staff , or to react to latest news etc thing kind of thing.

Looking forward to seeing what becomes of this and how you creators get supported by Mindark!

you do know some of that info is trolling... like the helpful rookie chat.... stop and read the rookie chat lol.

Can call it trolling but seems to me more like lack of knowledge on that part of the game.

IF that's the case prolly should stick to the things one has done, not "heard".

Nothing more annoying then bad guidance.

Might be funny to "troll" new guys and "suprise" when they leave out of frustation.

Why waste everybody time? 🤷‍♂️

as the narrator said "you can ask in Rookie channel for advice" i closed the clip
If cancer could be taken in an online form it would be definitely through rookie chat.
No serious players/investors will ever stay if they read rookie chat.Moderate that shit already mindark, you lose players everyday.

I agree is bad, however there are often people watching who private message new guys to answer and help most of time.
As for moderating Rookie, yes it certainly needs it at times.

Hello,
Best advertisment you can get for this game, I will try to keep it simple, remember how loot was before VU10 or whenever VU it was decided to become a grinding game? ok no loots were a part and people hate it , but if we knew there is a chance to hit 10k ped hof from 1 ped mob/kill thats is the best advertiment, this is just a plain simple example and it doesnt need any explanation.
This was the best marketing. Good luck out there :)

"this creature carried no loot" was one of the reasons for i stopped playing EU.
loot 2.0 is a game about extracting 3% of extra profit trading.
the real slogan should be

"you cant beat the game.... but you can beat the gamers".
"invest in your avatar" is a lie. a negative martingale leads to capital destruction.. at 97% return 20 iterations halve the ped card....
so... welcome loot 2.0 and looter profession
