Cleaning the loot pool, the scum on top was getting unbearable.
 
I say good job MA ... they realy start to do regular maintenance and also inform us at least a bit before. Now the question is what we will find when it comes back up :D
 
They are just scrubbing & cleaning the bottom of the loot pool since it's completly dry and empty.
Are we in for a refill of it when the are done?
 
i think that they will fix the no loot bag
cause since the last VU the loot is awfull
 
They will implement energy res to drop in loot (to bring down prices) :)

or

They will remove all lag so all run with FPS=50

or

They will put in summer post card greeting in all citys

or

They will say fuck you all (yes bird just flame me again for my bad language - you are still the first and only one) - we are closing the bizz and run away will all your peds. :laugh:

I think the hamsters were actually fine, although ofc they do need to periodically stop them to remove the dead ones, and add replacements, and also count them to check none have run away. This is the main reason for a VU (stands for the swedish for hamster count of course).

Also all that continuous running does make the hamsters' feet sore, so they wear special boots to protect them. Sometimes, these wear out as well, hence the need for a periodic re-boot.

The real and more frequent problem though is that the wheel itself gets clogged, and so they have to take the hamsters out, clean all the mess off the wheel and add it to the dung pool. I think this is the reason behind the weekly maintenance.

while we are waiting, why not vote on what new things should be implemented when the server is down..

Witte has done a poll on bugs to be repaired but maybe you want to see new things.. (as the majority has voted being bored in another recent poll...)

Well they've done it again!! support news page now says up at 1100 UTC/GMT

Why is it they never listen lol and just add 2 hours to be on the safe side hehehe....perhaps next time

Better take all the time you need to do it right MA!

As suggested before maybe add 2h to the endtime and then when you finish early we are all impressed like hell :D
