Since the start of SGA i have lost (not cycled through - plain dead lost ~20k peds of deposits if not more).

not a fucking item :confused:

ps (for smart arses out there) 190hp 74pistolier - ep-41, angel/tiger/boar mix.
 
Yeah, I just made the biggest mistake in my life - depositing.
Lost it all in less than an hour, same time, another guy near me was complaining of the same thing (but he said 35min he lost 300ped, I "only" lost about 250).
I sent support request to close account, don't know why I came back... ah well, lesson learned.

that if you spent over 2000 dollars
you would get or should expect to get
an SGA item.

Feel for you Fresco, don't have any suggestions I'm afraid.

I've been hunting mobs in my normal range and had a couple of OK loots to keep me going but no SGA items.

Have you changed your hunting habits during SGA?

Events equal big loss - it wasn't always so and it's hard to pin down when the steady 85% return (or....15% loss...) gave way to 50% return, but early -08 I was able to hunt stuff within my skill range paying around 10k ped over half a year active gaming. -05/-06 was perhaps 95% return overall.

The natural reaction is to lock account and give up the game a while.

I think the OP is indicating that when the return for 2k USD paid input is nothing but skills, the game lost its charm. And it was a 20k ped loss.

EDIT Oh, OP way ahead of me on that reply =)

no - this is my average loss for the last 3 years (out of 5 total), i just thought during SGA i will at least loot a sucker gift or so...

and why didnt you stop hunting that much earlier? there will always come new events and you could have bought a sga item for that money..

If you take the view that loot is equated somehow to deposits then you've been stiffed M8. My last deposit was about 4k ped which was to acquire an item I wanted ad with no SGA payback I've resisted any further 'investment' and decided to hunt as lean as possible until I see where MA are taking the 'Game' in respect of $ / fun hour ...
 
Fresco, find something better to do, IRL. Imo. Also, there's a button, withdrawal. Hf.

oh, i got plenty to do in RL as you say. the point is - I like the game, it just seems that the game does not like me.

however since "it is not gambling" such disrespect from the game towards loyal "donors" is lets say, strange

many of us is loyal donors.. that doesent mean that EU should shower us with items... the economy would crash over night and then we have to look for another game to invest years into.. you could depo a million dollars and never loot anything... just hunt eco and one day you might get lucky and get something out of the ordanary..

well, if it help u a bit,

loost same amount 20k + and not even a damm pixie or other part,

Well, i did spend most on it on hogs, my own fault, but ey, i did atleast try to get a sga item on them :)

But Yes, MA are more gready now then ever, cant do mutch about it, but i most say, i cant realy see alot off new people joining, if it keeps on going.
 
The only way I can play this game, without going insane, is to expect not to win.
I deposit what I can afford or want to spend on my hobby, and if I get something good I will see it as a bonus.

I dont even want to start thinking about how many $1000s I've deposited and I definitly do not need to know how much I lost :laugh:

Once I make a deposit I consider those money spent and gone.

Exactly, if MA showers the "donors" with items another group will start whining that only the big depositers get good loot :D

Sorry to hear Fresco that must suck after hunting hard over SGA, hope your luck turns around. :)
 
Sounds bad mate.

During my tests in the past, I've found maybe 75% of my losses are due to the economy of the weapon/amp. What dam/pec do you get from your combo with your skills (using Entropia Tools), fresco?

I think the promotion of MA's Second GOLDEN age should be a little different than it is now.
If I say to you that within one month 100k items will drop, with an avarage cost of 1 USD per hour with an active playerbase of 20k. What do you expect to get with 1million USD ?

Just to make a point.. still not looting anything? That is because of bad balacing or trough deceiving promotion.
Everybody has a shot to get something, if someone is just missing out each and everytime, increase his chances to loot so everybody will be happy.
that is what you call dynamic, this is just a casino

No SGA items for me either, depo KPed too, but gave up and just bought the SGA items i liked. Still looking for those Bl**dy Vigi M SGA foot guards still!

Next time you log on please press F. I'm not trying to be a smart ass, but you knew before SGA started how this game works. So why the confusion now? You paid to play. Somebody else has all your PED now. Suck it up.
