Off-topic but... thanks to micjack I finally had a reason to visit Rocktropia's home page. And WOW. ND knows how to run a show. That trailer is amazing. He makes Entropia look like one big party. ND for President!!
 
I have one of the two in game...he is whiter than Al Gore. And he is on Caly, in case anyone wants to see him.

Personally I'd love to see children introduced as a mob and pet. Then I could hunt or enslave them depending on my mood. Make them all dough-eyed and cutesy along with the Compet theme. Bonus points to MA if they cry and cower when you hit them with the whip.

There's lot of hidden clues for your ideas, already in the game.
If u now going to look for something clear-cut and obvious, u won't find anything. 'cuz u not supposed to. ;)

Then again, look at the animations of the little molisk and listen to the sounds it makes. U might start to see what was the unconscious effect they were aiming for.

Once u on it, many other similar "hidden references" can be found on Planet Collapso. They are in the process quietly disappearing over the last years (with every VU that includes mob re-design). No new ones have been added for many years.

Obviously manipulation of the subconscious was a hot concept in the early days of PE... but later it kinda fell out of favor. Luckily. Or maybe not, depends on which fence u sitting exactly.

Early designers had a lot of fun. All those plants that look exactly like the mobs that used to inhabit those areas - ambus, drones, formidons etc. The mobs were redesigned and relocated but the plants still remember their old look :)

I remember the Iltumatroxes often being in half-desert areas with trees looking about the same. It was a real surprise first time I met one of those: I saw a red dot on radar, but I didn't see any (obvious) mob there so I thought it was some sort of glitch, so I ignored it.

Well it was a real surprise when I got Close enough :laugh:

The question is, should one draw a line at humanoids? Is the human race supreme to other sorts of animals? That's what the nazi's thought about their race as well.

Entropia is about killing people, killing animals, extracting precious materials from the planet, and trying to make money from other people.

If I hear the sound of babies crying 24/7 at every town & auction, that will be my major motivation to sell out and quit this "game". Even seeing Mustangs parked & driving around is too much reality I want from EU. :cussing:

why would you complain, its just balancing manager not doing the job he is supposed to do (loot balancing) but balancing M/F pet ratio's, business as usual :)
