A recent change stopped putting the correct amount of the opening bid shown on the Expiring Auctions tab in the client loader. Every auction with out a bid is now shown
as if its opening bid was 0.00 PED).

Correct values here allowed PEAuction to show prices on items that failed to sell, and was infomation we could show that the In-game tool does not. Since there is no
other way to obtain opening bids values this handy feature is lost unless MindArk decides to supply correct values again.

Therefore I ask everyone to request MA to fix the opening bid values to auction feed. Please, show us your support in this thread as well as by creating support case.

Also in order to reach for new players we would like to start an EntropiaForum Adspace campaign. In order to do so we need a lot more EFD than we can afford at the moment.
Therefore all EFD awarded to this post, or donated to me from this post, will be used to run an EF Ad Campaign.

Current prices of campaigns are following:

3 Day Ad Campaign - 15000 EFD
7 Day Ad Campaign - 30000 EFD
14 Day Ad Campaign - 58000 EFD


As a good start I'm going to add 3k EFD if pool reaches 12k EFD and 5k EFD if pool reaches 25k EFD.

It would be nice if it could get information on auctions ending from Buyout as well, since that's also an important part of the auction history and volume of sales.

Sure it would be great. Unfortunately, so far we are limited to auction data from Client Loader. Unless MA adds buyouts to this feed (which I highly doubt) there is no way for us to include buyouts in our database.

For further ideas on PEAuction please use this thread.

True, also would be nice if they added tier information as well as did a few more things. For this week though, I would be happy if they just fixed this new bug ASAP. https://www.planetcalypsoforum.com/...ice-expiring-auction-tab-no-bids-missing.html also talks about it FYI.

This feature was particularly useful in checking the history of less frequently traded items, like armor parts, or the rarer weapons.

EFD donated for the cause.
 
i did better than this: i sent a PM to our new MA PR (that promised me to ask about) an to MA support.
Moreover why don t make a petition to ask to 711 to put this in the EF first page news????
Maybe also the other websites entropia related can do the same:
entropedia
entropia directory
pe auction
entropiabay
chipping optimazer
entropia traker
bob the bulder etcetc
I guess this will reverse the situation in few hours IMO
In fact i think that despite MA don t care about the single post, in the other hand they will have some nigthmarse if the most used websites entropia related start to put in the their first pages the sadly issues of the game

As far as I know Admin has PMed Hanne already.

I do not think that 711 would consider it good enough as 1st page news but I will suggest this to Admin.

Like i said I will be more than open mind to put this in the EntropiaBay Head ( and do you know why ;)), here Serica (that don t answer to my PM :rolleyes:) i guess can do the same with Entropia Tracker, let contact Wiffe, waffa (whatever is the name) the entropedia owner (sorry i don t remeber) , and the other ones and we can create a nice campaing about. About 711, don t think nothing. Send a PM to 711 and leave him the possibility to make a choice.

i don' think the chipping optimizer site gets anywhere near the amount of traffic as peauction does (and certainly several orders of magnitude less than EF), but surely i can offer to host an ad campaign on my site for free during some weeks, for whatever is worth.

This is the alexa.com info about the entropia related websites of some months ago (but u can enjoy to do a new one)
Some websites resource give to EF around 3-8k people at day, 0,3-1k to Peauction. Look like cheap optimazer do better then peauction actually.

Thanks for the idea. Hopefully that won't be needed. I do think we need to let MA know it matters more then it seems at first, so they then hopefully let someone spend the time to fix this sooner rather then later. There should be more notice about the issue at least on pe auction though I agree.

Hmmm.. not sure I want to 'bother' mentioning this after the reception last time, but the Expiring Auctions page seems to once again show the starting bid for auctions with no bids.
 
maybe now we can start to boring them about tiering ???:D
 
as for the trader this website proved to be useful

dont have any serious number of EFD to support, but hope this post will make this thread noticeable again
 
Unfortunately it appears that new peauction admin is no longer interested in ad ad campaign on EF, therefore I've decided to give back all EFDs received for this purpose. I sincerely apologize for this whole situation. In order to make it up to everyone who donated me EFDs I will add 15% bonus to their refund.

I was a little irritated at first when I saw the EFDs in my bank account. It took me a while to find this thread... ;)
